Most places waived the mask requirement due to new regulations. For some reason, they think it should be a requirement. Very interesting. You make people wait for 40-50 minutes while they can't breathe. Top customer treatment! Haircut is ok though

I had a great experience at Newmarket Barbershop. They are very friendly, they take their time to give you a perfect cut. Very high in customer service. I would recommend Bonnie and Anthony to all my family and friends.Charlie B

I am very particular about who cuts my hair as I was spoiled growing up. My next door neighbour was a very successful and skilled barber who owned a very fancy salon in yorkville. That being said,I went here about a year ago after my regular guy retired and can honestly say the job that is done on a consistent basis is nothiing short of my old barber! I plan to frequent this business as long as long as they remain open!

Traditional barbershop just how I like it. Been using the same family of barbers since at least 1975.

I have been frequenting this family run shop for years. If they are busy, I will come another time. There is no other place like it. The folks are friendly and they listen to what you seek, and don't just do the same old thing. Superb quality and very fair prices. No need to go anywhere else!

Been going to this shop for a number of years. I like it! Yesterday I got up from my haircut and a waiting customer said, “great cut, I’ll get a cut like that!” Also, they’ve redecorated, so there are plenty of things to gaze at as you wait to be served!

Anthony, as a long time customer, I have to say I was very disappointed to arrive at 7:50 a.m. on June 30th to discover somewhere betwen 15 and 20 customers, most of whom were seniors, lined up. I understand why so many are desperate to get their hair cut, but I don't understand why the shop chose not to use that appointment system that worked so well.Even if you had three barbers working with cuts taking 15 minutes each those in the lineup from #'s 12 to 20 were going to be lucky to get into the shop at the earliest at 10.a.m. Seniors standing outside for at least two hours?As anxious as we are all to get our hair cuts which have always been very well done there is not much doubt that most seniors would have preferred to wait for an appointment even a few days from now.By the way I came home, and have talked to others who have done the same.

Have always had a great experience here. The team has qalways been professional and upbeat. With all of the new Covid restrictions and weekly changes to the rules, they have stayed on top of keeping the shop clean and safe. With the restrictions on the number of people allowed in the shop, it will take a while to get caught up. So come early and be patient . A great haircut is worth waiting for!

Had a great experience here today as someone just passing through town. They do walk ins, have a nice set up, did a good job, it was reasonably priced and they were a solid level of chat and friendliness. Couldn't ask for more!
