I was caught off guard when the employee grabbed my nine week old puppy from my arms and brought her over to see a much larger Husky. This made me extremely uncomfortable, and as an owner of multiple dogs, any pet store employee should know this is not appropriate to do with someone’s 9 week old puppy who hasn’t had all her shots or even been introduced to a larger dog, especially without explicit permission. We have never experienced this anywhere with any of the three dogs we’ve raised and will not be returning here again.

Terrible service....if I could have gone somewhere else I would have. Bought some booties for my dog needing help trying to fit them properly the girl stood behind the counter and watched and then proceeded to tell me how to fit the ones I didn't buy back in the box. Lazy and unfriendly.....not a good combination. .

Whistler Happy Pets was a wonderful experience, lovely shop with lots of products for cats and dogs and very friendly staff. The kind woman helped me find the exact pet carrier that I needed for a last minute flight and saved our day. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back :) support local!

Though a small space, it is jam-packed will all the pet happiness you could ever want... obviously pet friendly so we brought our Aussie Shepherd puppy in with us... I think she was more than a little over stimulated by all the toys treats, and other dogs in the store. There was also a wide variety of food, collars, leashes, snow gear, etc. for you dog... also a reasonable selection for your cats and other domestic pets.If you're in Whistler and need anything for your pet this IS the place to go to.

Nice store, local in Whistler so no great trip other than to Function. However the way the store is set up it's an order selection process rather than a shopping trip. You'll have to know exactly what you want when you go there as the staff have the store closed off except the front till and get your items for you.If you're looking to shop, I would suggest heading to Squamish to Bosley to get the full shopping experience, but if you know exactly what you want and don't want to feel rushed by the line growing outside behind you (store is one customer at a time) then make a quick trip.

In my opinion, this is the best pry food supply store around. It's stocked with great products, clean and tidy, the staff are all pet owners themselves and honestly care about pets the their wellbeing and Happy Pets does not sell shifty food full of corn or other fillers.The ladies working are all goddesses.
