The parking rules and fines in residential areas are ridiculous. I had to leave my car on a residential street for 8 hours for work and came back to a $50 fine. I don't even live in Burlington so I was not aware of their brain-dead parking rules, which aren't indicated anywhere on the streets themselves, you just magically have to know. Appealing is pretty much impossible as nobody ever picks up the phone, and nobody has the time to stay on the line for hours on end especially during conventional work hours.

Separate entrance and exit doors. Enter through Elgin Rd. The Service desk staff took my name and number for contact tracing and directed me to follow the footsteps around to the back for a parking permit. Walked straight up to the desk. Very fast and professional service. Paid for a pro rated pass for December. Lovely staff. Answered all my questions. All covid 19 safety precautions in place. Very impressed.

Seriously lacking in compassionate advocates for animals. The Burlington SPCA are seriously lacking empathy, non-responsive to animals in distress & Animal control have no jurisdiction. This pretty and charming city has a dark underbelly of uncaring towards animal abuse. They simply don't care. Beware.

City parking rules on residential streets are absolutely ridiculous. $50 on streets that are not marked with warnings and on top of it if you lose the parking ticket you cannot search by license plate. What a sick money grab.

Stephen!! He’s great. I got a parking ticket this morning and I live in the orchard and as soon as I got a parking ticket this morning he made sure it was erased at Woodglen crescent is except from parking restrictions. Stephen needs a raise!

$120 for parking my car in front of my own house while I shovel snow at the pause of a storm!!!!! Sick sick money grabbing fines is 100% the worst thing about Canada since I have arrived.
