Don't eat here! Worst food I have eaten in my life. Should be shut down by health inspection. They gave us a dirty coffee stained fork and napkin. Asked for water and there was white stuff floating throughout. Didn't drink it. The fries were good but had fish batter throughout them. The chicken burger looked under cooked (but wasnt) although I could not eat it as it tasted like it was cooked with the fish. It didn't taste like chicken at all. Cross contamination unsafe. Also their garlic bread was litteraly just buttered toast.

The food was great! Chowder was good for lunch, less dense but full of flavour. The shortcake was really nice. The service was peculiar, maybe it was an off day for the server but she seemed unwelcoming albeit efficient.

This place was everything you would expect a local small today fish and chip shop to be. The owner was very friendly and had great knowledge about the area. Clean and tidy. A definite stop while you're in joggins

Got the seafood platter for one, ate it down the road by the ocean and it was amazing. Friendly staff and great seafood, highly recommend. Also love the winding roads north of here, great driving.

What a fabulous hidden gem to enjoy a meal with your family. The food was phenomenal, my daughter had the seafood fettuccini and it was the most delicious fettuccini I've had, she inhaled it! My step-son had the crispy chicken burger and husband had the haddock, they very much enjoyed these dishes! So fresh! I had the tossed salad and the vegetables were so crisp and fresh paired with a yummy dressing. Highly Highly recommend going!

What a fantastic gem of a restaurant to stop at on the way to Joggins. We were able to have a delicious meal there and get a history tour from the owner Greg. It's amazing how quickly he was able to make 5 meals and serve us while also telling us stories about the area.Looking forward to stopping by at the next visit again.

We stopped into McPuffin's while out for a drive. Never heard of it before but the reviews were good so in we went. What a great surprize! We had top notch service from (I believe) the owner. Seriously great service. They have a large menu including staples like burgers, fish & chips, etc., it was 5 or 6 pages. We had the Crazy Burger, mussels, calamari, pizza, and best of all, shrimp tacos. Err mrrrr grrrd. It was so good. They make the taco shells in-house and they are ridiculous. Definitely get the shrimp tacos. We will be back, for sure.

Ate at McPuffins today. Food was exceptional. My husband had the McPuffin burger with fries and I had 2pc fish and chips. OMG it was sooooo good. We come from the Eastern shore of NS and know fresh fish. Batter on fish was light, no grease and fish was cooked to perfection. His burger was awesome. The fries are probably some of the best hand cut fries I have ever eaten. Crispy and light and just delightfully yummy. Service was great. Dont read the two or three bad reviews. Some people enjoy complaining.best h
