Matt was so lovely when I contacted him about a breaker issue in our new home we purchased in the spring. He came out same day and figured out our issue, sadly it was more then we expected but Matt was so genuine and honest with his opinion and we will use him for any electrical needs in the future.

Matt was willing to do a small drywall job in addition to doing some electrical work in my basement storage room (which had been used as a hobby room by the previous owner). Even though the job took a little longer than expected, he still charged me the same amount he quoted me when we first met to discuss the project. When he began the electrical work he contacted me right away to advise me of the extra time & cost involved in rewiring the track lighting which he discovered had not been properly installed. Since I was planning to use the room for storage only, it made sense to replace the track lighting with basic standard fixtures. Matt also cleaned up after the work was done and offered to take away the track lighting which could not be reused as well as some wood panelling that also had to be removed. And as an added bonus, he and his partner also helped me unload some heavy IKEA furniture pieces from my car that I bought the day they were working on site.

Matt was highly recommended by a mutual client, they were very impressed with his quick fix and reasonable rates. I confidently referred him to another client whom needed her light fixtures replaced in her new home and she was very happy with his work.

General meeting they were given a list of jobs to be done though house. They estimated 3 or 4 days. Which should have costed about $3500-$4500 plus parts.Things started very slow, there progress in a day was disappointing. The second day was not much better.Soffit lighting was never completedDownstairs lighting was never completed.We basically got 16 pot lights roughed in only for $277 each this was extremely high only 30% of job completed. The part that put me over the top is they left bare wires exposed in box ( could have started fire )and had to have another electrician in to fix their sloppy wiring caused a hot neutral. This was a second fire Hazzard.It would have been nice if they came back to fix these issues instead they ignored all calls on these fire Hazzard.Very disappointed.

Matt has been an absolute pleasure to work with. He is knowledgeable and friendly, and created a custom plan specific to what WE needed. He took his time to go through our undeveloped basement, asked us what we wanted and explained where he would be putting everything, from the outlets to the lights and smoke detectors.We’ve never done anything like this before, so he let us know what he would be doing first and when he would need to come back, having other contractors in in the meantime…even suggesting which contractors we would need to hire next.Having moved here from the UK, we have electronics from overseas. Even though we didn’t end up doing anything about those, Matt took the time to research what we would need to do to make those consoles work. He went above and beyond and really appreciated that.Since then, Matt has returned to install our security cameras and connect our AC…and he did an amazing job with those too! 7 stars out of 5 from us ;)

I run a small Massage Therapy clinic in Stony Plain, we were having some surprise electrical issues that would have interfered with our clients treatment, we needed some help right away. Matt came out to replace our breaker panel, a few out door plug ins, and arranged for inspection when completed. Matt is very professional, strong attention to detail, and very knowledgeable in the industry. Would highly recommend positive power, and Matt will be our electrician moving forward. Great job!!
