Wasted $2500 here, I gave him my full story and later on when I switched lawyers(due to the fact he wanted another 1500 for tribunal) found out he relayed none of my cases key facts. This is now hurting my case as there has been no groundwork layed.

My husband was permanently injured nearly three years ago, our lives changed 360. We met the disability threshhold easily, my children do not know what is it to see my partner pain free now and fully functionnal for a day. The little one has no idea who he was before the injury, suffering is our new normal.I reached out to my social capital towards sucessful injury lawyers as there are more injured people than you would think and a long established firm made the call for us to be taken care of by Ottavio.My trigger to get a lawyer was that : although he couldn’t breath through the pain wsib would call and manipulate the narrative. And after a few times of non answering my husband would be deemed as non cooperative. So it is effectively a sort of financial threat with no respect to the right to suffer and his dignity. They would not accept that he was in constant pain and could not go physically and mentally through their evaluation process.The system set in place is deemed to exclude people with real injury, the fact is you are guilty until proven innocent but you cannot prove innocent.Objectively speaking, dealing with pain management and surviving is my first priority, I want him to live a little to the best of his ability.The psychological trauma is tremendous and the guilt associated with being reponsible for the restriction for the whole family in term of mobility and happiness is heavy. When you have an injury you have to focus on living, not fighting. It is easier to be a single parent than to deal with caring for a suffering loved one, it erodes you as you live the injury day by day, after a few years believe me, you need an unbelievable amount of mental strenght. I ran half marathons in 2h15 and a full one in my days and that requires minimal mental strenght as the injury is always there to hinder your life and defines your life as in stuff you cannot do , dinners bdays attending soccer games all the basic children stuff of a functionnal family and the legal process will probably takes 4 years.If not for Ottavio I cannot fathom where we would be.Competency is not judged by the number of phonecalls and sucking up to a client but by results.Thank you Ottavio for keeping our family together, this journey is surreal and the cause of injured people and their suffering is underated by an incompetent healthcare and a legal procedurial system devoid of humanity, we had to be repeated over and over that he is condemned that there is nothing to do by specialists, but at least I have a someone on my side and that sustained me.
