Yesterday I called to request an emergency appointment for our dog, Badger. We were told we couldn’t come in as they were booked up already. We asked where we could go, the answer was I don’t know you will have to look. We’ve been clients for 5 years years. We put our dog down yesterday. Dr Rick would have helped us with this transition.

Very impressed with the service at this clinic. Dr. Rick, Dr. Lisa and the rest of the staff have been absolutely outstanding. They've provided my cat Stanley with exceptional service and care. Compassionate and very helpful! I know the journey isn't over yet but it's been greatly appreciated to have such an amazing clinic nearby! Thank you so much!

Have made the switch over as our old vet was acquired in that mass overtaking of local vets by a conglomerate....Can say that I am very happy we did. Admirals walk cares about the pets well being as opposed to caring about how high the bill can get.Their staff is extra careful with my little one which is great as she is ... Special.... To put it nicely.They have helped suggesting things that will improve her quality of life which is all that matters to me.

The staff is very sincere and friendly. The Dr. Rick was outstanding he took his time with us and I didn't feel rushed. I felt he really cares for animals and offered me some advise which is very helpful fir me.Highly recommend this office!!!

I was truly disappointed by taking my little Cockepoo to this place. The veterinarian was completely lack of knowledge. I was charged $230 for absolutely NOTHING! They didn’t even prescribe eye drops. She was saying none stops she doesn’t know the issues with my dog’s eyes but she was quick in taking $230 for doing ShT

Rick has been our vet for our two dogs for a few years; he has been a tremendous help throughout any health issues that have arisen, and he genuinely cares about animals (not just in it for the money.) I would not change our vet for anything; he's been a blessing for our two dogs, and I would recommend him to anyone.EDIT:Originally I gave this clinic 5 stars, but it's no longer a 5 star clinic.My wife and I had very high praise of Rick, but upon receiving a misdiagnosis from the animal hospital he sent us to, and overall lack of compassion we've seen in recent years has caused us to move elsewhere.Maddie at the front end has always been fantastic, and we will truly miss her.Not that it's a bad clinic; hence why it's still three stars. But having our baby girl misdiagnosed with CHF and her taking the medication that wasn't needed and most likely did a number on her other organs, we had to seek a better vet. One that actually let us in with our girls instead of waiting outside in the cold for whatever assessment was made as well.We also have not been able to get our specialized dog food (prescribed from the vet) for quite sometime, as well as their Flea medication (also prescribed from here). We had zero issues getting these items from Vic West.The real bummer for Flea medication was when a new receptionist suggested we do over-the-counter stuff from Pet-Smart which did absolutely nothing. It was the liquid that goes between the shoulder blades, and it was a waste of $100. This was weird being recommended from the clinic itself, and Vic West told us that what we were told to pick up was absolute garbage.We did enjoy this clinic years ago; but Vic West has proven to be more compassionate and reliable on diagnosis in recent years.Sorry Rick; but we do wish you and your clinic the best regardless.And farewell Maddie; you were incredible and we TRULY will miss you.

I have had a lot of pets and visited many veterinarians over the years , all of which were excellent. I have been dealing exclusively with Admirals Walk Veterinarian Clinic for the past 12 years and they are as good as you are going to find in greater Victoria my opinion. Good service, good prices and companionate about caring for my pet. Thank you from Miley and me.

Rick and just team consistently go above and beyond for their people. They treat everyone like family and are so great with our doggos. I wouldn’t trust my pets with anyone else, Rick thank you so much for everything you do.
