The autumn menu was a 12-course masterpiece. I highly recommend Aburi Hana to celebrate any special occasion! My favourites were the Sea Urchin & A5 Wagyu Beef. During the dinner, you'll experience various flavours and textures all throughout Japan. Expect to stay 2.5 hours to enjoy your meal. While we didn't order sake, the Sake director recommended us different refreshers to go along with the meal and they were SO delicious. The staff at Aburi Hana were kind, attentive, and welcoming. Once you leave, you'll still find yourself thinking about all the amazing things you ate even days after the dinner. Big thanks to the Aburi Hana team for an unforgettable dining experience!

I've been to other Kaiseki (and Omakase style) restaurants in Toronto and this one is my favourite. Aburi Hana offers a unique fine dining experience in an intimate setting (Note: we were in a private dining room, not the chef's counter.) Each course (and sake pairing) was explained to us in great detail. Each dish was exceptional. So too was the service. Our private room set the stage for a romantic evening. A knock on the door preceded the serving of each course (I lost count of how many courses after my 6th pairing of sake.) The sake is served in hand blown stemware that is as light as a feather. Truly unique, much like Aburi Hana. Highly recommended, especially for special occasions! :)

We had omakase here. Overall, the dishes were very nicely- presented and tasted delicious.

I came here with friends for the winter tasting menu and wasn't impressed. The staff were nice, and attentive however it doesn't justify how the experience was very disappointing. The beverage pairing was underwhelming, only a couple of the beverages paired well with the dish it was served with. The dishes were average for the most part, they had a lot of conflicting ingredients and textures. I was really questioning if ingredients were only added to make it look aesthetically pleasing. I just wasn't impressed by their flavoring ..I thought it a bit too fusion and the flavor isn't as refined/delicate ....sometime the sauce is just a bit too strong and overpowering and the use of ingredients is quite common but they have great presentation...I did pairing their sommelier seem to be quite knowledgeable. I personally just like to taste more variety so would suggest pairing over ordering a bottle.....I didn't think it was outstanding/memorable..the pairing that really stand out was my recent experience in Tokyo, it was wine and sake pairing and I guess Japan has more variety...and I was really impressed with the type of sake and wine that I got to taste and how each really goes well with the food.

With wine/sake pairing it’s $500 ….and absolutely worth it. The preparation, presentation and dishes are impeccable. The service is formal, structured and oh so Japanese. The flavours and textures are extraordinary. If you want to be transported to a place of culinary and sensory delight, then you have to give Aburi Hana a visit.

My boyfriend took me here to celebrate my birthday. It was the best birthday I’ve ever had celebrating at Aburi Hana. The ambiance was heavenly. Service was top-notch. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional. And the food was out of this world. It’s wonderful how they change their menu every 2 week. The chef was also very easy going. He came to each party and exchanged conversations with us. Hopefully, we could come back to try their other menus.

We came on the first day of their late-spring menu and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The chef's creativity truly shines and there were not only seasonal Canadian but also seasonal Japanese ingredients. Every single dish is truly as good as it looks. We also got the 5 course beverage pairing, I didn't know that some sake can have such a rich aroma and taste. Needless to say they pair very well with the dishes we were having. The price is steep, but I would say that it is worth it for a special occasion. If you're worried about the food quantity with these high-end restaurants we walked out stuffed dw lol. I am highly considering another visit in the future.

We came here to celebrate our 5 yr anniversary and new job. Really a one of a kind experience. Every little detail was thought of and the service was outstandingI love how attentive the whole team was and how everyone who served us was knowledgeable about the dish and was excited to walk us through the story behind each course. We recommend adding the sake pairing to your experience as the Sake Director here showcases amazing sake that you won’t find easily in Toronto.I already can’t wait to come back, probably won’t be any time soon as it is a pricey experience. Great for graduations, anniversaries, birthdays, or if you’re a fine dining lover that’s looking to try a traditional Japanese kaiseki with a modern twist.Thank you again Chef Nakagawa and team for such a memorable experience!

Extremely wonderful experience at Aburi Hana. If you’re looking to splurge on a kaiseki style meal then this is the place to go. There is validated parking available, but it wont cover the entire cost.

The signature dish is probably the best dish I’ve ever had. Saki tasting was great.
