Maker Cube - Langley Makerspace

I'm one of the co-founders and owners. I'm giving a well deserved 5 stars the community of makers that have helped us grow and maintain this vitally important resource for your future enjoyment. Thank you to every single person that's participated at Maker Cube - be it through social media post, taking a class, - tour or even starting up your own small business. We work hard to make sure our tools are accurate and ready to use. We care deeply about the success of our members and everyone's overall experience. It keeps me up at night if a customer has a bad experience. Regardless of who is at fault I believe there's always lessons to make future experiences better. I have a small passionate team that I'm proud to have ambassador my company. We will always be better than the last time you visited because I don't believe you're ever done learning. That's what Maker Cube is about - Cultivating curiousity, creativity and confidence.I can't wait to see what you'll make.

What a fantastic idea! My son took a robotics/coding summer camp there and I was curious about the establishment. Jacqueline gave me a tour od the space and I was thoroughly impressed with the wealth of ideas poured into this amazingly creative space. My son came out at the end of each day completely charged up and excited to tell me about all that he had learned and created. Doug is nothing short of amazing! Patient, resourceful and kind but a wealth of information and knowledge.I am looking forward to taking a few of their woodworking courses and now my son wants to join me and build our own project.I cannot recommend this establishment enough to anyone who wants to get their kids off their gadgets and excited about creating their own projects. Doug will get you their with guidance and instills a huge entrepreneurial spirit! What better way to spend time with my son.

Fantastic place to learn new skills, and to have the freedom to turn my ideas in to finished projects. The members have created a welcoming community within the space, and there is a near unlimited source of inspiration, and knowledge as a result. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get started in trades, or anyone looking for a place to support their hobbies.

I am building a guitar pedal and wanted it to look good. I was going to use my label maker to indicate the various knobs until I found out about Maker Cube. I took the introductory course for the laser cutting machine with Doug. With the knowledge, I was able to come up with a design for my pedal. When I went back to use the cutter to etch my design onto the powder coated aluminum enclosure, Adam was extremely helpful in working through some of the kinks in my design. The picture shows etched design. The little dots are there to indicate where I need to drill for the pots and switches. Thanks, Maker Cube, for making it a truly wonderful experience. Hopefully, the pedal will sound as good as it looks.

Adam, Doug and Jacqueline have created a phenomenal space for the collaboration of brilliant minds. I come from East Vancouver. Amazing place and amazing space! Corey did a great job with the metalworking class!

Such an amazing space to create whatever your heart desires! Recently became a member and the staff and other members are so very helpful, willing to take the time to walk a newbie like me through basic things. I'm focused on woodworking but there's so much other stuff they offer like metal working, crafting, photography, 3D design and printing, laser cutting. The DIY person's dream space! Highly recommend taking a tour and or class if you're interested in something fun to do as a hobby or looking to start your own business! They rent space as well for startups, etc #supportlocal

Very clean and tidy shop space with helpful teachers and cool intro sessions. I took the 3 hour welding class and everyone was collaborative and fun.

The Makercube family are simply AMAZING!! We at FreshBark & Co. had reached out to them about creating a laser engraved wooden sign for our business. They went above and beyond on exceeding our expectations with excellent craftsmanship and even got the sign bigger than we thought was possible. On top of that they were able to create us a nifty stamp as a nice add on for our business. Thank you so much and looking forward to working with you again!!!
