I was in the store last week with a list of items. I have to say that Jane who helped me was kind and knew where everything was. It was a pleasure shopping there.

Has a good inventory of specialty paint products.

This store is AMAZING!! For its size they put so much in and whatever you need they have. Staff are outstanding and ever friendly and helpful. Bought a specialty wheelbarrow wheel (which they had in stock) and it needed the special manufacturer bolts which do not come with the wheel. Often have to be special ordered from the national supplier. But, a number of staff assisting me, they found the correct bolts I walked out fully equipped to install a new wheel and get to gardening. The staff assistance was above and beyond. Shop local, support our community and walk out with a content smile on your face. Thank you TEAM Parksville Home Hardware!!

No bathroom. Horrible. I have medical issues and walking is hard. Sure chevron was fairly close but it’s far if you can’t walk easily. Also, if you urgently have to go. Why is it ok to say no you can’t pee here but can pee at chevron. Your both businesses. I thought home hawrdware was a small town family store. This one is not friendly. I’ll go to any other hardware store first where I can use the bathroom. Such a big store and that won’t let people use it. It seems it’s cause of the neighborhood. But if you can’t police that than your customers shouldn’t have to be punished. Almost all stores have bathrooms. This is big enough to. Such a shame. I prefer to support smaller family run places. But won’t ho here. Bathrooms are a necessity. Passing that on to other businesses is not ok

Went in this afternoon to purchase some containers with my 7 year old daughter. Part way through shopping she needed to use the bathroom. When asked they told us they don t have a customer bathroom and sent us to the chevron across the busy street. I have used their bathroom in the past. When I went up to pay for the merchandise they told me they didn’t have staff to clean it. What a load of garbage! Who cleans up after the staff?!? As an owner of a business i find this outrageous. Yes keep your bathroom locked to avoid weirdos but to not allow a customer that is clearly shopping use is another thing. What a joke. Will not be back and will be emailing head quarters!
