I recently moved to the neighbourhood and stopped in to see if they could take on my dog. She is a little anxious and doesn't like being groomed, they (Rachel) did a fine job and paid particular attention to the areas that I asked them to. I will be bringing her back regularly. They did a wonderful job with my little guy who gets quite anxious with new people. he was happy and not in any distress when picking him up, not to mention how great he looked and smelled! Will definitely come back, thank you guys:)

My cat had a lion cut and wash here. I had a request for keeping some length of hair. The stylist (or owner) did it perfectly as I wanted. My cat smelled very clean, fresh, and seemed to be calm and content when I pick him up. Will come again :)

I’ve been going here for many years. Always great friendly service and my dog always looks great. Highly recommend.

Wow, these people were awful. I had been to them a few years ago, and I thought they did a good job with my schnauzer, even though I found them a bit rude. I gave them a positive rating regardless.Today, I went in with my dog in my arms and the man, without even saying hello, said my dog was matted. I take very good care of my mini-schnauzer, and I had brushed him just the night before. There was no way he was matted. In order to prove his point, he had me set my dog on one of the grooming tables and he immediately started to aggressively comb my dog’s long fur with a crooked metal comb. Seeing that my dog was shaking and getting hurt by the comb, I told him stop hurting my dog and to use a slicker brush first.Things went from bad to worse, and I walked out. They we’re horrible and had no regard for my dog. They might give good haircuts, but at what cost??

I have been going to this groomer for years. Without a doubt the best on the NS. I used to live 2 minutes from them which made it convenient but now I’m in the Lower Lonsdale area and still will not go anywhere else. They are pricey, but like anything else you get what you pay for. Sometimes the language barrier can be misconstrued as rude but I’ve never found them to be intentionally rude.

My dog Stanley the bernedoodle is a regular here, and has an appointment this upcoming Tuesday. Every time he comes out he smells amazing, and has a great cut. The employees here know how to groom doodles very well, which can be hard to find. With NVan being full of doodles, they have a lot of experience, and are very reliable. I recommend GPS especially to people who own doodles/poodles.

The owner and team at Golden Pet Services are incredible! Our dog, Marlowe, comes back looking and smelling fresh. She’s always so happy after a grooming, and the team takes time to make her feel loved. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quality professional!

It's been a year that I bring my puppies to this place almost every month and my dogs are very happy. I am very satisfied with their timing and work and their very good attitude and I recommend this place to my friends.
