You should look elsewhere when looking for an appraisal as they like to add unnecessary fees to gouge customers. If your lender uses them and you have no choice make sure you are cautious of added fees

I had Ridley & Associates do an Appraisal a couple of years ago and they came back today for another appraisal on our home. The gentleman who came this morning was so very nice and friendly. He took lots of pictures inside and outside the home and didn't mind my curious cat and little barker of a dog. I would highly recommend this company for home appraisals. You will love the customer care they provide. Also, there is not a wait to have your home appraised, they are very quick to respond and come to your home within a couple of days. So fast, thank you for all your help.

I recently had an Appraisal from Ridley, I was doing financing with a mortgage broker on my rental property. Everything went so smoothly from the initial phone call from their office to schedule a date, the payment, the friendly Appraiser Jackie and the overall good experience. I asked for a business card from Jackie and will definitely tell my Broker to choose them again as a place financing on other rentals!!. Thanks

If I could rate less than one star I would. Our appraisal was way off base. First time this company did our appraisal John was bang on with 170k-173K. Less than 6 months later in Niagara all real estate had blown up. Values are up way over 30% people are getting more than their asking price and we were refinancing. The appraiser from this company came back with the same amount as 6 months ago. We even had a conversation during the walk through where I asked how do you guys keep up to date with busy markets like this. Now I know the answer they don't or she doesn't. I even called to complain to the owner. Left a detailed message about how upset I was for him.....he called me and I missed the call...but he never called back again. I know if I have an upset customer I call until I get through to them and do my best to resolve the situation not just call once and wash my hands of it. Anyhow they will never set foot in my door ever again bottom line. And any lender who uses them will not get my business either.

I am a mortgage agent and just wanted to write this review. I have used Ridley & Associates a lot. They are my go to. Jenny and Jacalyn are awesome to deal with. They are quick, professional and very accurate with their numbers. With COVID its made it difficult to do business and they fine a way that makes the clients happy and my lenders. I would recommend them over and over and I always get great feedback from my clients. Jacalyn was able to pull off doing an appraisal the same day for me and was able to get the appraisal sent to me as well all on the same day. That is unheard of in todays world. So when they are able to help they sure step up to the plate. Don't change what or how you do things. You guys rock!

I must say Brad is not only professional and knowledgeable but also a great client partner to work with. He was very prompt with all the communication and had patient to answer my queries. Please read all of the 1 star reviews on this page, they are here for a reason.I have to say, absolutely everything about this company was horrible right from the start.Timelines were never met, even with extra money being paid to expedite the process.We have be trying to get someone on the phone for several hours, no one will call back. Not the appraiser, not a superviser, nor management. Once the receptionist does finally pick up the phone, she won't allow us to speak with anyone, just gives us their email. We paid $700 for this appraisal and not even the common courtesy to return a phone call when our closing date is 5 days away.Our property was purchased for $1050000. There are several other comparables over the $1100000. They appraised us for $970000..... This is even after we had a second appraisal done by another company all very clearly outlining 3 other comparables within the $1076000-$1120000 range. By far enough evidence to support our purchase price.Some of the worst customer service I have ever come across. I also work for a family owned business and we take pride in our customer service vs the big companies. And to not even get a phone call back, which could end up costing us our dream home is absolutely disheartening. I cannot speak to how disappointed I am in the service provided by Ridley and associates.I can only hope they do what they can to help make this right.
