My hair seems to magically stop growing after a certain length and I always wanted to have longer hair than what I currently have, shoulder length. I visited various salons during the past few years asking for help as well as asked about extensions to be told “NO” can’t do it for your hair type. Very desperate as my son’s wedding was fast approaching so I set out again and I came across Locale J Hair. Spoke with a super nice guy “Joe” and he never once said “NO”, he said let’s see what I can do. Needless to say I have the most amazing extensions, looks 100% natural. No one at the wedding, friends or family ever questioned my hair but all said that my hair was so beautiful and can’t believe how long it got! Suffice to say I’ve had these extension since September 2014, 2 touch-ups (every 4-months). This hair salon knows their stuff. They are very professional, not about taking your money, customer oriented and ensure that their value clientele are 100% satisfied. I recommend Locale J Hair to everyone!

My wife has been going to Joe D for years, so naturally I started seeing him when I moved to Toronto. Does amazing men's and women's styles, down to earth, and makes you feel welcome the moment you step in the door. I give high praise to the whole crew at Locale J.

I went to this salon for the first time after last lockdown was over. My hair stylist was Raquel. I really liked her personality and her work. I got a hair cut and I loved the cut. I am planning to go back to get my colour/balayage done. I liked that she did not rush me to get it done asap. She said that I still could wait it out. Looking forward to going back to this salon once the lockdown is over.

5 stars is simply not enough. I had my hair cut by Joe and I was super nervous as I haven't seen anyone for almost a decade for a cut and having a perm I was worried about possibly getting someone inexperienced. Joe was very professional and asked questions beforehand told me what to expect with each type of cut and different methods we could use. He cut nearly 5 to 6 inches off but had my hair done within a half an hour and even better than I imagined. Service was very friendly and he was very precise and gentle even with wash - no overspray whatsoever and no tugging at my hair. Cost is very affordable for the quality of care. Will be a regular here and highly recommend to everyone. Thank you again!

I recently visited Locale J for the first time and I was extremely happy with my cut! My appointment was with Joe and he was very patient and thorough during the consultation. Can't wait for my next visit in a couple of months!

Have been going to Steven for two years now and he never disappoints! Great service and worth the price. He offers great tips on how to manage your hair once you leave the salon, which is a great plus!

The salon is very professional and super accommodating. My 14 year old daughter went for balayage for the first time. Altea ( I think that is her name) did a great job and even touched up a few areas a few days later that didn’t take the colour as well as the others. She did a beautiful blow dry and treatment as well. She left super happy. Thanks so Much. We will be back
