I met Lisa by chance through the Calgary wedding buy & sell facebook group. She posted her info on discussion, and by chance I clicked on her link! Her photos were stunning and I instantly knew I wanted her to shoot our wedding. Two weeks later we were meeting her in a coffee shop! My fiance instantly knew that she was the perfect photographer for us to! She was funny, relaxed, down to earth, and was truly passionate about getting to know my fiance and I.We did our engagement shoot with her. I had always wanted to do pictures in a canola field, and Lisa took us to her parents farm, the pictures were beautiful! My fiance and I were both a little shy and nervous to do a engagement shoot, as neither of us have ever done one, but Lisa was fun, relaxed and totally made us come out of our shells! Our original wedding was July 11th 2020, but we had to postpone and totally change our whole wedding. We came up with a date in October, and I only picked that date because Lisa said she was available! (there was NO way I was going to do my wedding without her). Our wedding was beautiful, there was a huge snowstorm the night before, and it was quite cold but me and my husband, plus our wedding party had so much fun taking pictures! Lisa got a long great with everyone, and it was amazing.I honestly could not imagine NOT having Lisa for our wedding. She got our pictures back to us in a timely manner, and kept in contact with us throughout the whole journey. Our photos were stunning, and I was blown away. Highly recommend, and wish I could do it all over again! :) :)

Lisa or her social media team went out of their way to create a hostile and not inclusive environment. They shamed a bigger woman for likes and interactions. This is someone who I would NOT recommend women using for a photographer. Again would NOT recommend.

If there was one purchase I would make over and over again for our wedding, it would be Lisa MacDougall's photography. Lisa completely exceeded our expectations for the photos we would be receiving from our special day. From day one, Lisa made us feel comfortable, whether it be through our communication back and forth, or in front of the camera. Lisa was able to take photos of everything we wanted and so much more, even flying solo as a single photographer! We couldn't be more thankful for the memories captured by her. The MORNING after our wedding, Lisa was hard at work getting us a few sneak peeks, which perfectly describes her enthusiasm and professionalism. Lisa - we are forever thankful for you and your talent! I am so excited to see these photos you took up on our walls of our new home. Thank you a million times over, you've captured us, our family, and our friends PERFECTLY! I cannot recommend Lisa's services enough.

I have been wanting to get family photos done with Lisa for 2.5 years and finally found an opportunity to make it happen for our family Christmas photos this year. Lisa's photos are so dreamy and romantic. To say that I am over the moon thrilled with our photos would be an understatement. Not only were the pictures breath taking, Lisa made the whole process enjoyable (even with a toddler and a puppy!). 100% recommend!

Lisa is so kind hearted & genuine. After my first time meeting her she made me feel so comfortable, confident, heard & seen.. which is so important as a person let alone a mama when you’ve given your all to your kids. I will forever be grateful for meeting Lisa ♥️

Every session our family has done with Lisa has been absolutely amazing! My kids refer to her as the lady who brings the treats! Ha ha! They absolutely love her, and she has always been able to get them to warm up right away and make it a fun and easy experience!The only problem I have, is not enough wall space to display the years and years of memories she has captured!

If there is one thing that’s really important to me it’s capturing beautiful family moments. Lisa has been our family photographer for years now for a reason! She’s absolutely amazing with our kids even when they aren’t behaving she captures the most beautiful photos of them. She’s magic! I’m definitely picky when it comes to my pictures and Lisa is hands down worth it! Can’t express enough good things about her!

Lisa did a mini session for our little family of 3 in September. She was really helpful answering my questions before I even booked and she was really flexible fitting us into her schedule to make sure we could get some good pics of my 3 month old. The session went very smoothly and I felt really confident knowing she was willing to take pictures of my little guy as young as he was. She also put my mind at ease, letting me know if he cried or whatever it was all part of documenting our family just as it is!She was super quick getting us the photo album and her platform is really easy to use. The photos are awesome - I actually couldn't believe how many great shots there were! I would definitely call Lisa again for photos!

Lisa is the most amazing photographer! We’ve been to her multiple times and she’s been nothing but professional and accommodating. We did extended family photos with her including over 10 people and she was able to easily navigate the big group and capture cherished memories. We also did red truck Christmas minis and were so happy with everything. She is wonderful to people of all ages and sizes and able to get a smile out of anyone. If you come across a page posting anything inappropriate please know it wasn’t her and she has recently been hacked and started over.
