By far the best barber I've had the pleasure of getting my hair cut by. Man's self made. Great looking, clean shop, super personable and professional. 200/10 recommend for skill level and professional courtesy. I gave him creative license to do whatever he wanted and I recieved the best haircut of my life.

Getting a haircut should be an experience....similar to how you feel going to get a massage or a spa treatment, you want your time in the chair to give you a good feeling and you want to leave knowing that your barber took the time to make sure they are giving you all of their attention and this was absolutely my experience at B-Block. After months of not getting a haircut due to covid related delays I had reverted back to a feral state (LOL).....my beard was long and my hair was now out of control. I work downtown so I walked over to the shop which is in the building across from the brew pub and was greeted immediately and even though he had a customer in the chair he took the 2 minutes needed to offer me an appointment. As I expected with a small, local, single owner operator business my appointment wasn't a walk in or day of, but the level of professionalism I received was on point right through the door and I got what I expected. When I returned for my appointment I was again immediately greeted with a level of sereneness that suggested to me that I wasn't cattle to be shuffled in, processed then shuffled back out. I was his client and he was there to offer his services to me and only me. I was offered a beverage and seat while he swept up from the previous client. The atmosphere was chill, with some hip hop on the speakers at an appropriate volume. Moving to the chair, we discussed my ideas and concerns for the cut. I made my suggestions and was offered supportive ideas, we decided on the style and length and he began. During my time in the chair we had a positive, non invasive, casual conversation about music and technology. The moment of truth came when the chair swung around allowing me to see the mirror and WOW!!!..... my hair was exactly what I wanted... bald fade high and tight into a style-able length on top. After the cut we discussed other styling and cuts to be conducted in the near future. This was one of the best experiences I had had in sometime. I 100% recommend getting an appointment here. 5 Stars! 10 out of 10 for service, quality, experience and professionalism. Support local business and look cool doing it......I will be telling everyone I know about this Barber shop.

Wow! Barber Bain is skilled!! Super clean cut! Great fade! Meticulous and takes his time. No rushing you out the door with little pieces of hair all over! Best cut I've ever had let alone in the area. Whole experience was a pleasure will be returning for sure!

Best barber in town would not recommend anyone else other then Chance only barber in town that does a proper fade and a real straight razor line up I used to go to Victoria for my haircuts because no one in Duncan does proper fades or line ups but chance made me switch along with the hair cut he’s a very easy going guy super nice and easy to talk to and the whole experience is overall 10/10 offers lots of enhancements to make for a overall great haircut and experience
