Beautiful fields with views of Lions Gate Bridge. There's a grass field for soccer and a water based turf for field hockey that has been recently renovated. Change rooms and bathrooms are on site.

Rutledge Field
Great spot to watch youths enjoying field hockey. The field is well maintained, parking is convenient and seating available for spectators. There are not a large number of field hockey fields in the lower mainland and this seems to be the only one on the North Shore. It is part of a large area for teams sports near Ambleside Beach.

Rutledge Field
One of the few purpose built field hockey fields in the region. The new water-base turf is preferred by many players as the ball rolls easily and consistently. Its proximity to Ambleside is also quite nice for pre or post game walks

It's a good place to park when all the locals out for a walk for the whole day plug up all the diagonal parking spots in the 1400 block of Bellevue and the city doesn't bother to try to move people along so that people can actually park near their mailbox and get their mail on a semi regular basis

Its a good field. Clean a vast majority of the time. It has good traction. But not the best viewing/stands for watching the field hockey games. NOT THE SOCCER FIELD. Only field hockey

great for field hockey, the ground is special, squishy almost, fantastic for high impact sports where falls are imminent, but when it gets wet its wet for a while unless its super sunny and hot, fun field hockey games to watch from time to time as well, very cleanly kept
