The Home Depot

This is one of the few Home Depot stores that actually has sufficient associates on the floor that you can find someone to help you when you need help. We moved here from Cambridge five years ago. In Cambridge finding an associate in the HD was like finding diamonds on the street. This store is a really pleasant experience.The only issue I have had with this store is the online inventory system. Occasionally their webpage suggests there is inventory, but when I go to the store, no one could find it. Other than that I have never had an issue with them.

Found what I needed. Even if I had to go back in twice... That must happen often because the cashier warned me about having to come back for projects.

Easy return and fast service. The assistant manager was also available to assist us when we were looking for someone to help. I like how the staff is generally knowledgeable about products and how they can point you to the aisle or general area where certain products are located. The product I was looking for was available and I could find some good info.

Jason P in flooring was very helpful with securing a specific tile that I needed. His customer service was promt, proffessional and friendly. Went the extra stept for customer satisfaction. Much appreciated.

Everyone was very nice, and they had good sales. I was disappointed in the forced appliance delivery charge and long wait time to receive one. So I went elsewhere.

I usually find the employees at this store to be incredibly helpful, however today February 21/23 I had a really bad experience with an employee by the name of Walt who seem to be going out of his way to be difficult. I wanted to buy a piece of wire cut to 2.4 meters, he informed me I had to take 3 m, I explained that I had bought four other pieces of cut to length wire in the last week and never had a problem with buying an odd length. He told me it was too confusing for the cashiers and that they wouldn’t be able to key it in. I told him that didn’t make sense that I would only cut it off when I got home and waste it. His reply was do you want the 3 meters or not. When I got to the cash a very nice young lady by the name of Emily serve me, I asked her if I could’ve bought the 2.4 m and she said certainly, why not, so I explained what Walt told me, she said she didn’t understand why he said that they did that kind of thing all the time that the computer would take care of calculating the cost.I started to leave when I got to my car I decided this was just plain wrong so I went back to customer service where a nice lady by the name of Nicole listen to my story and gave me a credit for $9.79 for the extra wire but told me I would have to go back and see Walt and have him cut off the extra. She walked back with me and explained the situation. I think Walt was upset that I had proved him wrong, from that moment he seemed to do everything he could to delay my leaving the store. He didn’t speak to me again for close to 10 minutes. He finally cut a piece off the wire and gave it back to me, telling me to have a nice day. It had been a nice day until he decided to get even with me and ruin mine. He was wrong but he made me pay and wasted my time.The problem is it is really ruined the shopping experience for me, even though I’ve had really great, helpful people in the past I’ll never enter the store again without hoping that I don’t have to deal with Walt.

Always loved Home Depot. One of my two favourite stores to be. Friendly staff and great selection! Store's always well organized and everything is easy to find.

My wife bought 2 skids , of brick for a raised garden . She was told the couldn't deliver for a week and a half their delivery driver had truck problems . She paid for 182 brick we received 100. When we called we were told that we bought 32. Excuse me !!they sold one of our skids , it's been 6 weeks since we ordered.we were told it would be delivered at 730 am , here it is 430 just received them . They will never get another cent from me , not so much as a single nail.Apart from. Being lied to numerous times it is run by totally inept people .Shop here at your own risk!!there are other places to get lumber I.e Ermards

I can't believe a store this size and they don't carry paraffin! And you can never find a guy to make cuts for you if you're buying lumber. This place has taken a dive lately.I miss Lowe's.
