Al and his amazing team at Howell Mechanical have been looking after our spaces for a long time and every experience with their team is always extraordinary.They have helped us with fixing smaller issues with heating/cooling systems, water heater, plumbing, all the way to installations and expanding washrooms to include shower area. Especially their response when you have an emergency is truly remarkable. The spaces they have helped with included our own home, residential rentals and commercial spaces and we never had any issues with their service. Al ensures we are looked after as promptly as possible and guides through the process if funding or financing is available for the projects being worked on.They are upfront, punctual, reasonably priced and their are never any avoidable surprises with them because of which we cant imagine using anyone other than them. Our furnace was cutting in and out on a cold Saturday morning. Called after 8am and had Brad out by 9:45am. He was great with our dogs, very knowledgeable, and patiently answered all my questions. He also noted some other potential issues to watch for, although there was no pressure or up selling. Would highly recommend!

Our hot water heater was arcing and leaking. Leslie looked after us and kept us up to date on when the new heater would arrive. John and Beau installed it and were extremely professional. They explained the condo water system to me and left the area cleaner than when they got there. Very reasonable rates. I would recommend them on a heartbeat.

Howell has replaced my hot water tank and a toilet as well as serviced my furnace in the past. Last week I had one of their plumbers in to replace the drains in my kitchen. I am very happy with the results.It is always a joy to have professionals doing the work! Great company to rely on for plumbing and heating.

Had them do service work at our business, they were clean, courteous, and prompt. They got the job done on time and on budget with no disturbance to my customers. They also gave my brother a good deal on a new furnace and AC system.

Howell just completed some plumbing work in our bathroom. They did a great job and were fair in their pricing. Will use them again.

Crooks! I called them for a furnace cleaning/check early in the winter season because I saw a coupon in the mail. Keep in mind my furnace and A/C was working perfectly before they came. When they arrived they told me something must've conked out the night before because it wasn't cycling properly and that I needed a new $600 circuit board. They did something to it so that my furnace would keep turning on once every five minutes but then after 30 seconds of trying to boot up to heat the house it would give up and automatically shut off. Nobody seemed to know what was wrong with it, even the owner after he was sent to my house on an after-hours call. Of course they suggested a whole new HVAC system which would cost over $5000 LOL. When my furnace was still acting up they sent the first guy over again to try and figure it out and he suggested that it might be the thermostat. $1000 later plus a $600 Hydro bill (usually its only $100 a month) it still never worked properly and they never returned any of my phone calls for explanation or solution. Either they are completely incompetent or they like to take advantage of single women living on their own. AVOID!!!

What started out as a simple $130 condo shower valve replacement ended up in over $1,500 in repairs which included repairing a large hole in the wall, cut out for replacing a partition stop valve and replacing a damaged piece of PEX main line. The partition stop was apparently not operational, so we needed to shut off the main water and send notices to other affected units. Once the shower valve was replaced, and the water main turned back on, the plumber noted a leak within the wall. The partition stop was replaced, but days later there was still a leak and it was determined that the main PEX line was fractured. We were led to believe that any in wall repairs" at my mom's condo would be a condo management cost but in the end

Amazon company. I dealt with a big soulless company prior to Howell and they said I was not covered under warranty and had a sales guy come by to give me $6000 options for a new furnace. Luckily I felt so much grease in the conversation I decided to have a shower and call Howell. Specifically Al. He checked with information I provided and I was covered. Said he would look after it. Part ordered immediately arrived in a few days and fix was only $250 for the labour. 1/20th of what I thought I was going to have to pay. Honest, sincere, fair and I have now worked with them a dozen times. I will not go anywhere else and don’t feel the need to question his pricing.
