TODAY 2 July . very bad experience bad managment cruise back 40 minutes before. no chairs to sit. Charge so much BAD BAD BAD ... Please be aware take the money before depature .

We recently did an event with Pioneer cruises. While booking we were ensured the boat is temperature controlled and they have air conditioning. On the day off it was super hot day and none of the ac's worked. People were drenching in sweat as there was not enough breeze in the covered hall. We were supposed to get the ship at 4 for 6 pm event to prepare and put some decor and signage. There was no staff in sight until 5:15.It was a charity event and we had signage and so much prep work to do. On top of that the boat was supposed to leave by 6 pm as we booked the 6 to 10 pm slot. The staff wasn't ready until 7. The last beverage loading was done at 7 and that is when we left. They promised to extend the cruise till 11 but we were docked back by 10:10. I would never recommend Pioneer cruises to anyone.Save yourself the hassle to go with them.

Arrived for the Canada Day Firework Boat Party, no signs anywhere telling you where to go. Had to walk through a dodgy car park to where the boats were docked. No one was about who knew what was going on. The boats looked about 140 years old and not what was used on the advertisement photos. Asked the guy what the “Premium Bar” consisted of, as this was the decided factor for us at this point… He said “just mixers and beers, you know, like rum and coke and stuff…” as we saw them carting cans from a car onto the boat less than an hour before departure.Saw plenty of others leaving so I can imagine there will be a few more reviews like this to follow. Also, no mention of the fireworks being cancelled. I know they don’t control this, but an email updating everyone beforehand would’ve been nice.I wouldn’t bother, very disappointing as we missed out on other Canada Events for this.

I booked a Saturday evening boat cruise dinner party for my staff on June 24th. We had about 65 associates attend, and it was a great success. We chose the Italian dinner package which included chicken marinara, lasagna, salad, bread, and dessert. The food was really good. Maybe the best lasagna I've had. The service from the staff including the captain was top shelf. The cruise itself was a wonderful experience. We departed at 7pm, and enjoyed pre-sunset views of the Toronto skyline and island landscapes, followed by spectacular views of our great city after sundown, and returned to dock at 11pm. Communicating with Ginni was easy and she was very responsive. I would like to thank her, MK, and the entire staff for hosting a very memorable event for our staff. We intend on making this an annual event. 5 stars. Highly recommended.

Cruise was to leave at 630 pm, we are still on the boat, no captian and no information. It is now 8pm. I would not recommend this to anyone it is a con.

We went to an event with 200 people waiting in their cars in the garbage filled dusty parking lot. The boat was set to board at 1pm- and sail at 2pm- the boat wasn’t clean and ready to sail.one staff member was present at 12:30Toilets were filthySmell was horribleGarbage all aroundChairs dirty and wet from night beforeNo technician in sightThe A/c was offBoat docked 1/2 hour early-

Had the worst experience with pioneer ever. First off, the cruise was booked for 6-10 pm but didn't start until 7. We paid for fireworks cruise but the cruise didn't even go near the area of fireworks. The staff towards the end told us that fireworks were cancelled even though they weren't. If only we could get a full refund for the money wasted.
