To tell the truth, the food didn't make us happy.There is no overflowing happiness from Japanese cuisine today( although I am not a picky person). But I ask you to agree that the nori leaves are short, not glued ... the rice is not sticky, it is crumbled ... Honestly, im disappointed. Such not neat sushi, looks like somebody very young was allowed to help the cook))). Today I wanted it to be pleasant for the eyes and a stomach. Unfortunately,no...For the first time, our family ate only half of the set))). I put three stars for the promptness of collecting the order, for the freshness of the products and for efforts. Hope it was just not a good day.

We get their sushi for take out from time to time and the quality of this place has stayed pretty consistent until this occasion. The seafood they use (we have ordered rolls and nigiri before using salmon, tuna, scallop) was fresh and tasty. The rolls aren't packed with a thick layer of rice and overall, generally have a good balance of ingredients and flavors. In the pictures are the red eye roll, soft shell crab roll, and Nami roll.This time, the green dragon roll we got used rotten unagi which should not have been served. It tasted like rotten meat, ruining our appetite. There was a funny smell to it too.This is going to be a place I will avoid for a while as there are plenty of other options where we have not been given rotten tasting sushi.

I had a lunch here couple weeks ago with my hubby and this place serves quite nice quality sushi rolls in affordable price.Most of sushi rolls are $9.95 which is very amazing especially if you think about this place is located in just off 17th Ave.Although this place is not as fancy as other sushi restaurants, still nice, clean and comfy to enjoy.Rolls were plated nicely and they were very tasty and server was friendly.We mostly ordered rolls so hard to compare other dishes, but if you are sushi roll lovers, definitely try this place!I highly recommend you to try Calgary Flames, torch fired salmon with Katsuobushi flakes on top is just a bomb!!

One of my favourite sushi restaurants in Calgary! Great value, amazing quality and freshness, rivalling my favourite place in Vancouver. I haven’t had a bad meal here and it’s my go-to when I’m craving sushi; I’ve never been disappointed!The deluxe Nami box is amazing!

Good sushi, hefty portions and excellent staff. Always cleaning and friendly. My only negative feedback is menu needs more photos or descriptions on specialty items such as Monkey Brains" and "Fall in Love"."

LOOOVEEEE this sushi place! It’s the only sushi place I order from in Calgary. Fresh ingredients and always made to perfection. My favorite rolls are the salmon avocado, spicy salmon and Calgary flames. Their spring rolls are yummy too! I highly recommend also trying their dragon balls, you won’t regret it. Definitely going to keep ordering from here.

Amazing sushi, the mango roll with the smoked salmon was my favourite but everything they made was honestly made to perfection. You can also order from them directly and they will deliver it through their own forces and provide a 10% discount for doing so. Definitely worth the try, I’ll be coming back here. Tuna tataki was great too.

Sushi is very fresh and the deals for their their lunch or dinner boxes are very worth it for the amount of food. Having been here a couple times, there isn't much consistency in their sushi rolls. The one big issue is their rice. It's really lacking vinegar and doesn't come across as seasoned. Good rice should be a given. Employees aren't really that kind either.
