I have been going to Salon Sophie for 15 years and I have always loved it. Very recommended!

The best hair salon in town! My family has been coming to Sophie and her husband for three decades now. Their work is always of the highest quality. They are also wonderful human beings, generous-spirited and fun to talk to.

It's my usual barber shop. I don't have much hair left, so not much can go wrong. They have three barbers: Sophie (I think), the man, and the woman. Some people wait for their favourite, but I find them all okay if I am clear about what I want. Otherwise, I get what they choose, which for me, makes little difference. Waiting area comfortable. Neutral fragrance.

Sophie and staff are always a pleasure to deal with. They listen attentively to your needs. Haircut is never a disappointment, nor that of your boy. They don't take appointments, so just show up and be patient. It's worth it. Wait time is normally reasonable and if not, they will let you know.

Sophie cut off a chunk of hair which I didn't ask for. When I pointed it out to her, she said she followed my instructions which is false because the result didn't look like the picture I showed her and the fade that I asked for.And instead of owning up to her mistake she made a rude comment and told me to find another hairdresser.Very disappointing

I've been seeing them for 5 years, and I would never go anywhere else. Quality haircuts for a reasonable price. Also the owner and staff are sooo kind and wonderful.

No frills barber shop for young boys and men of all ages. The owners, a husband/wife couple, are skilled and work quickly. I've been getting my hair cut here for 20yrs and always leave satisfied!

Not Queer friendly!!*Would not recommend this salon for afab folks with “men’s” cuts, even if masc presenting!*I was v excited to try out this local barbershop because of the great reviews but was sadly turned away immediately because “we don’t cut women’s hair”. I’m non-binary and was looking to get a men’s haircut (i already have floppy short hair) so skill/ability should not have been an issue. It’s really disappointing to see them prioritizing gender over the haircuts themselves.
