The food is good and the staff is generally nice. We have been going here a lot for years now, and never a problem. But tonight we saw a bug in the pho bowl. Not a problem usually, mistakes happen, just when we called over the waiter, she insisted it wasnt a bug, even though there were clearly legs and everything. She first said that it was a bean, which made no sense since there weren't beans in the pho, then she said it was a chili. It was black, how. She even went as far as to eat it to try and prove her point, and spit it out right after, saying she just didn't like spicy stuff. After all that, we didn't want to eat anymore. We had only eaten a few bites at most but she didn't even offer to give us a discount, and we paid full price for food with bugs in it, which we didn't eat.

Stopped in before going to the RBC Bluesfest and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of the food here! Awesome. I had the pineapple rice with chicken and my hubby had the red curry. All excellent. We will be back.

This was my first time eating pho on Somerset Street in Ottawa's Chinatown... It was SO good. One of the best bowls of pho soup I've had. I ordered the shrimp wonton and rice noodle soup.The service was excellent. We received our food quickly. Cutlery and tables were clean and inviting. The server was so happy and welcoming.I highly recommend pho bo ga.

HIDDEN GEM! Honestly, I do not know where to start. Whether it’s the taste, the customer service, or the care, I give not only 5 stars, I give 10 if I could.Janet is one of my favourite people there, but overall all the staff is amazing. I always feel welcome and leave with a full and happy stomach.I recommend the spring rolls, the Bun Bo Hue Pho and the General Tao with rice.

This is the best pho I’ve ever had! I ordered combination, it has so many different kinds meat. And I put a spoon of chilli oil, the soup tastes even better. I literally eaten the whole bowls!

This place is open til 5AM which is a massive upside. The menu was a bit confused regionally considering the name of the place but the pho tasted authentic. The sauce for the fresh spring rolls wasn’t right but the spring rolls themselves were fine. I really enjoyed the fried fish cakes.

This place has gone down hill it hasn't been the same. I ordered rice dish and it was horrible tough cheap beef meat and extremely minimal smallest portions I've seen YET in China town. I'd stay away from their rice dish at the very least. Down the block co cham or pho bo ga LA have way better portion and good meat compared to here. Here you pay more and get less. Others you pay less and get more. Stay away. The food was so bad I didn't even bother taking a picture of it. I'd never go back here again.

Service was slow, they got our order wrong, and mixed up with other tables. Food was subpar, would not go back again, and the fruits they used in the shakes were not fresh, had a stomach aches later.
