Cornerstone Physiotherapy - Burlington

I have chronic back problems but starting working with Yuki several months ago following a fall. She is extremely knowledgeable and her positive and caring ways helped me through my recovery. I have already recommended her to my friends and will continue to do so to anyone who is needing hands on personal physio care. Should I require additional physio sessions I will certainly contact her and the clinic again.

Yuki was very knowledgeable about body mechanics and how to heal my problem. I feel like this will sound like a fake review but after months of dealing with the pain and inability to do things with my arm, I started feeling better after just a couple of sessions and doing the stretches and exercises she gave me. She was always positive and cheerful, and cared about my health progress overall as well. Making appointments was easy and the location was really convenient.

Yuki is fantastic to work with. She is knowledgeable, patient and really motivated my son to stay positive during his recovery.

Russell is very extensive during his consultation with clients and made me feel very comfortable. He has an excellent understanding of physiotherapy. I would highly recommend him!

I went in to see Yuki for treatment following a sprained ankle. Her attention to detail, kindness, and overall care made my experience so much better. I started off with excruciating pain in my ankle while walking and she helped rehabilitate it while simultaneously teaching me the best practices to prevent me from re-injuring it. I had a C-section 9 months ago and I started working with Yuki 4 months after my C-section as I had read about pelvic floor assessment in an article online. When I met Yuki, I was trying to get back into an exercise routine but found myself struggling with some basic core exercises. I am so glad I made the call to Cornerstone Physiotherapy and they recommended I meet with Yuki. She worked on a detailed pelvic floor assessment during my first visit and asked about what goals I wanted to set for myself. That was amazing as it gave me clear things I could focus on. She then created a personalized plan for me which included Physio sessions, exercises and most importantly - scar tissue massage. This was something I had not heard of but it’s the best thing about my C-section recovery. My scar feels firm now and I don’t feel any soreness. I can’t thank Yuki enough for theamazing support she provided to me during this recovery. I am able to do all high intensity exercises well now. I highly recommend everyone who has had a c-sec to plan their recovery well and give it priority - start with a pelvic floor assessment and work with someone like Yuki who really focussed on the scar tissue massage over and above the strength building exercises. It is sad that this is not highlighted by the doctors as this is such a critical element. I highly recommend Yuki to help you mamas through your postpartum recovery.

I was very pleased with this clinic. Dan was my Therapist. He was very kind and answered all of questions and concerns with lots of patience. He helped me relieve the shoulder and neck pain by suggesting few strengthening exercises which showed a lot of improvement. I would recommend him anytime.

Working with Yuki was great. She works with you to address the issue and provides exercises to carry on post treatment to maintain your progress. Would recommend to anyone looking at physio.

So professional and so helpful. I had tailbone pain every time I sat for extended periods of time and I saw Yuki for pelvic floor physio and I am virtually pain free. I cannot recommend her enough!
