Nice coats and from what I looked at, his prices are reasonable. However, I gave a low rating NOT because of his lack of English, and it’s not his native language. It is because the coat I wanted to try, he moved it away from my hand. And other things to.It is not a way to do business. Good luck to him!

I purchased this jacket in 1979 along with an equal for my girlfriend at the time. Although the girlfriend is gone but the jacket is still here reminding me of my youth and will be buried with me. Thanks Gregory's Leathers for forty years of memories.

Prices are very reasonable compared to what you see online for comparable products. The owner was very helpful in finding us the right jacket. Very happy with this store.

The owner is definitely old school, but better that than pandering to whatever the customer wants.I had to plead with him to repair my ratty old coat, but he did and the workmanship was amazing and he turned it around in 1 day!

I bought a jacket for my wife on the spot with the help of the store owner and he was more than helpful. Local business owners like this gentleman do not get enough credit surviving in the on line market. I am glad I went and purchased a leather jacket at a very fair price.

Well I wish I could give an honest review but I haven’t been able to visit nor call them in over 3 weeks. I’ve gone down 3 times so far during business hours but it’s always closed. I’ve tried calling and there is no answer, not even a voicemail service to leave a msg.At this point I’m not even sure it’s still open for business. That’s to bad, as I wanted to shop local but 3+ hours of effort and will now have to rely on line resources once again.

Nice little store, reasonable prices and huge selection of leather clothing. It was really hard for me to find good leather jacket until I discovered this gem. Gregory helped me choose quality perfectly fit jacket for a good price. Btw he is not a rude person at all he is very nice, it is just because English is not his native language he expresses himself less eloquent than others, that's probably why other commenters got this misconception.

I have been shopping for a spring jacket and wanted to check out Gregory's to see if leather was an option after visiting the Rideau Centre yesterday and not finding exactly what I was looking for. I bought two jackets, they are original and unique and I really enjoyed my time with Gregory. Awesome value

I think it's a great store, he made me a custom jacket for virtually price of a coat from Danier, I got a spring jacket made with cow hide and it was tailored to fit me,5 years later it's still perfect. I got to pick the leather and the design. Gregory is old-school, he's too the point and direct, some people may not be able to deal with his abruptness but he's honest and he does fine leatherwork. I'd rather pay $100 more to get something made on Rideau Street by a craftsman, than exploit someone in the 3rd world to make me a coat. If you can suck it up and listen to the guy he will be fair with you and give you excellent value for your money.
