Have done 10+ trips with this crew. Have only gone in July and August, as spring is super cold and rough rapids. Was sad to see the cliff jump is no longer there, but rapids running super fast for this time of year. Great time again. Guide Crazy Larry said if I mentioned him, we get free beer for life.

This was on my bucket list Absolutley amazing.I got to experience it with my sons and would recommend this group to anyone. Larry was knowledgeable, made it fun and safe. Even if we lost him once lol. He was the best. Thank you Larry for making my first time rafting such an amazing experience.

This was the best guided rafting trip that I have ever participated in. All of the guides and staff were extremely knowledgeable and entertaining, which made the experience so much more enjoyable. Highly recommend for both family trips and team building work functions. They set such a high bar on the rafting experience that our recent trip down the Potomac river was really lame in comparison. Can't wait to go back to float the Black River with them again.

Our guide was Stevie Nips but Larry and Chris are honorable mentions. This was a fun time. We went when the water was high and fast. We felt safe and enjoyed the experience. Kids and adults will have a great time. Definitely experience this once in your life.

I can say enough about our experience! It truly was the best!!!!! It was a great day, perfect weather, the river was running high snd fast which made it a lot of fun to run. We have done whitewater rafting at other locations when on vacation and this by far was the best. “Magic Matt” was out guide in the boat and he was beyond awesome! So was his daughter a melody “peanut”. He knows the river and can read it very well. It was a perfect balance of keeping us save, making it fun and that everyone had a good time. All the guides were awesome and I loved the way they interacted with each other. It was such a great part of our vacation and ARO is one of the best outfitters we have experienced. Perfect and top notch.
