I had a wonderful experience with the Maple Tek services. I brought an old Macbook computer to be repaired and was unsure of how much I wanted to invest in the process, given the age of the device. Kaiser was wonderful in completing a thorough diagnostic and walking me through the various repair options in a transparent way that allowed me to make my choice with confidence. The service was timely and I had my device back within days. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a trustworthy and reliable service delivered by caring people. Thank you!

I honestly don't know why people write bad reviews for this business. The owner is very knowledgeable in electronics field. Hard drive on my laptop went bust, he was able to recover all my data from it and installed a new one along with operating system. The owner is also a very nice person.I see that people get mad about their diagnostic fee. I guess they expect people to work for them for free. It is so simple - you pay a small amount of money (depending on the device being serviced) for the guy to diagnose it, since he has no way of knowing what's wrong with it just by looking at it. If the device is fixable, then that amount goes as credit to the full service bill. I definitely recommend his services

Always helpful and resolves any problems we've had with our laptops. Also sourced a great new laptop at a competitive price. Only place we go now as a family for all our computer needs.

Used Kaiser (the owner/operator) a couple of times to solve some software difficulties and recently bought a new IPad from him and had him get it up and running for me (transferring all my ‘stuff’ from old one) ...very happy with his service and work and found him very competitive on both service and product pricing.Will certainly stay with him as my go-to computer guy.Randy

Have used this place on and off for at least 6 years for disasters that have befallen my desktop. Service has always been great and reasonably priced. Kaiser is a great guy and takes a real interest in your problem. Stands behind his work.

First I was told it was a $40 deposit for him to fix my laptop and that I'd more than likely get some money back because the piece that needed replacing is usually quite cheap. After looking at it he said it would cost $265 to fix. I decided it would be better to buy a new laptop so picked it up instead. I asked if I was going to get some money back and he said no because it would have cost $150 to fix it (?) and that it cost $40 to examine it. Not a Place I'd go back to again.

Unfortunately, I wasn't as lucky as the last reviewer. My experience was TERRIBLE: 1/ the owner misdiagnosed (35$) my computer problem, which resulted in paying over 100$ more than what he originally told me when I left my computer with him. 2/ the service was much too long (over a month) with pretty much no feedback until I finally called to find out why the repair was taking so long. If you don't want to be overcharged and wait much longer than necessary, please avoid Mapletek Computers in Oakville!

Mapletek is a business my family and I trust greatly with our technology and for the acquisition of more devices for the household. The owner is very knowledgeable and sells items at reasonable prices. We've purchased a basic desktop computer and consulted Mapletek on several occasions for technological guidance and were indubitably satisfied with the results. I would definitely recommend visiting this place should you require assistance with anything involving computers.

Horrible Service!!! Very suspicious. Dropped off my iPhone6 plus for repairs and they said that they will give me a call to say if my phone was fixable or not, and they never did!!!!! They charged me 25 dollars + tax just to take a look and do diagnosis, had to go there and call multiple times to eventually get an answer after more than 10 days .... Everything sounded suspicious after a while, not sure if they have taken any parts from my phone or not at this point and not sure what I am dealing with. I would not recommend them for service.
