Pretty good breakfast. Nice and clean atmosphere with pleasant and helpful staff. Kid friendly with a special treat for them when we finished. Not cheap. But decent quality. Will come back next time we are in Kelowna.

Stayed at the Coast Capri Hotel and De Dutch was just there. Went in on a Sunday morning around 11ish and waited for the hostess to sit us. One thing they need to work on is the front desk who keeps customers waiting to be seated.After getting a table, service was ok. Food was quick and tasted good. Washroom was clean.

The service was terrible. We were seated and waited 10 minutes before our hostess came to ask for our drink order; no server in sight. This is the second time my partner and I have tried this location, there will not be a third

Food was really good, service not so much. Once we were seated it took a good ten minutes for a server to take our drink orders. Once she came over she said “sorry for the wait. I thought you might be ready to order food as well.” Fair, although not good service. We got our food pretty fast and it was really good. Although while eating it was very bizarre that the manager (I’m guessing he was the manager) decided it was a great time to have what looked to be a staff meeting at the entrance. Very weird vibes because at this point, all service stopped. A customer actually had to go up to them, interrupt and ask for service. The bell the cook rings to let the front staff know food is ready even went off during this time with no response from the staff. At this point we finished eating and just got up and paid at the front as we didn’t want to wait any longer and the atmosphere was very weird. We don’t be back for a while. Maybe try a different location.Also, if the gentleman on the floor was the manager. A gentle suggestion to wear something other than a t-shirt and jeans.

We had arranged to go here specifically for breakfast. We were disappointed the first time as it was closed due to staffing shortages. We shuffled our schedule to return which was a huge mistake.I ordered the large pannekoek with homemade peach preserves. My husband had the potato bacon soup and salad. My pancake was absolutely tasteless. The preserves were like mashed up peach jam that had been watered down. This was served with regular syrup instead of the traditional stroop that we are used to. We only managed to get one cup of coffee as the server ignored us and I could not get her attention. The restaurant floors which have carpet are filthy. The ceramic on the walls have been swiped with a dirty cloth. Our server was inattentive and slow as she shuffled from place to place. We will never be back. This used to be a nice place to visit and have a meal. Such a disappointment it is now.

Came here for breakfast with the family as we were tired with the hotel breakfast. And we are sure glad we did.My daughter ordered the Chicken Avocado Omelette. She said it was really good. My wife had the Pannenkoek Banana Walnut. It was yummy. The portion was really big that we had to pack some for later. My son and I shared the Dutchman Platter sausage and eggs. It was also great.Server was fast and friendly. The restaurant was very open and inviting as well as clean. It was a great last breakfast in Kelowna.

I've been to other De Dutch locations in other cities. As a former restaurant owner I am perhaps more critical than most. When we arrived we were one of three tables. Server was attentive. Food arrived fairly quickly. Things went downhill from there. I ordered the Boer breakfast. Hash browns were raw. I asked server to take JUST the hash browns back to re-cook. She takes my entire plate. Of course the eggs, meat and pancake are kept under the heat lamp while they remake my hash browns. After quite a while my plate comes back. Of course the over easy eggs are now rock hard. My friend is finished his meal before I even start. No way do I risk sending the eggs back, so I eat it. Server is suddenly MIA. Use the handicap washroom, and it is filthy. Will never be back

We are staying at a nearby hotel that didn't include breakfast. We decided to try DeDutch as we've had great experiences in other locations. We waited at the door for 20ish minutes. I can understand busy but no one even talked to us for a long time. When a server eventually sat us, it seemed to take forever for our drink orders to be taken. Then finally our order was taken. My son's meal came out wrong, the blackberries had mold on them, we had to ask for the included fruit cups for our 3 kids meal.Our server was very nice, and she corrected my son's meal without issue. Perhaps a lack of staffing issue. Our bill came out to almost $100 (2 meals and 3 kids menu meals). Our whole experience took us from just after 11am when we arrived to almost 1pm, and to be honest it just wasn't worth the money.I sincerely hope they look at staffing and get that server some back up.

There were a few things wrong with our food but our waitress was super nice and friendly that we didn't say anything. Overall, it is a good place for breakfast and the coffee is amazing. Plus they have a fresh squeezed orange juice. I will go back to this place and try something else next time.

We came here to take breakfast, the waitresses were so cute and nice and super friendy, the food was so delicious but pricey, it cost me around $128.10 for family of four 2 adult and 2 kids and also the restaurant is a pet friendly
