Mercator Vineyards

Some of the best red wine that the Annapolis Valley has to offer. Wonderful staff, incredible decor and atmosphere as well. Sit upstairs outside on their deck and enjoy a flight, you won't regret it.

Really beautiful vineyard. We enjoyed our wine tasting and left with lots of goodies for home! The staff were super friendly and helpful. We will return.

Top shelf customer service and tasting experience....would do again

We visited Mercator Vineyards a few weeks ago to sample some their wines.It was a beautiful farmhouse building with several rooms and seating areas indoors and outside.The wines we tried were actually very enjoyable; and, the service was knowledgeable and friendly.

I have done a couple winery tours in Wolfville but this was the first time visiting Mercator Vineyards. The building is beautiful and very tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. They have a beautiful area upstairs for larger groups. The only downfall was the amount of each pour at the tasting. The amount of wine given for each wine tasting was SO much less than every other winery we visited, it definitely wasn’t an ounce. It appeared to be more like 1/4 an ounce. It was so obvious that a number of people in our tour made a comment about it. I’m not sure if the staff member was just a new employee, as he had mentioned he was a student at a university in the area? I’m not sure.. but other than that, it was a great visit!! Shoutout to the staff member from Newfoundland.. you’re awesome!!

This is our second time visiting Mercator and although I still love the place, I was a little disappointed after today's visit. It was around 3:30pm and we were looking forward to enjoying some cheese and wine in the vineyard however we were advised there was no cheese/food left as they ran out. We were also looking forward to the chocolate flight and seen many others enjoying them as well. Unfortunetely, by the time we were done our flights, they also ran out of chocolates too. I'm happy to see a place that busy, especially given the current environment, however, I feel they missed out on a lot more business chance to make more customers happy due possible to lack of planning. Either way, rating is great as we still love the place and will be back.

Beautiful vineyard, walkable from Wolfville town. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, with a very chilled vibe. There are free tasters and you can buy by the glass or bottle to drink onsite. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Thank you for a lovely visit.

The staff here is incredible and super accomodations! The wine pairings were well done and the back patio makes for a perfect place to relax and enjoy. For those travelling with dogs, the back patio and grass area is pet friendly. They have dog water bowls and treats as well! Highly recommend adding this to your list of stops.

Their wines & service have improved a lot since they first opened. Amazing little spot, an old farmhouse converted into a wine-tasting room with many different places to sit and enjoy the vineyard and it's wines - very artistically done with no wannabe" vibe. Love it."

My wife and I sipped some great Tidal Bay wine and dessert wines, while enjoying the view from the upper deck.We met and had a nice chat with Rachel, which confirmed our thinking (after 9 days in Nova Scotia) … the residents of this beautiful spot are some of the friendliest and happiest people on the planet.A great place to enjoy fine wine and meet nice people.
