Penticton Bike Rentals

The person is so rude, not happy about me trying different bike and find the suitable bike, they told us on the phone that after 1pm , their rate is half day but when I asked the guy , he said no, you have to pay the full day price. I ended up not rent bike from here and went another store in town which had a better bike and better rate and much more friendlier staff.

This summer I decided to rent a gas scooter with my girlfriend and we both had absolutely no experience. I was surprised to see that they were willing to rent it to us and even offered to include a lesson into the price of the rental. The guy that helped us was extremely patient and had no problem taking his time to make sure that we were completely comfortable on the scooters before we left. Needless to say we had an amazing time and would recommend that if you are ever in the city of Penticton that you pay them a visit.

My friend and I went to Penticton for a moms getaway trip and we called to rent a two seater bike. It is a shoulder season so it looked closed but the guy came immediately to open up and rent a bike to us. We had the absolute best time and we had wonderful service!! I highly recommend this business and we will be back for sure!

I rented a mountain bike to head up to Little Tunnel and back on the KVR. The rental was convenient and the ride was perfect. Big comfy seat and sissy bar with upright handlebars. (I’m 60, and appreciate a few things...) The guy was cheerful, polite and helpful. The trail, of course was amazing. Best $45 I spent all weekend!

I rented a Trail Bike to ride the KVR from Penticton to Chute Lake. A roundtrip of approximately 78 km's. The staff who rented the bike to me knew where I was going and provided a route map. However, what he did not disclose was that almost half the distance was on a very rough road strewn with jagged rocks and covered in a layer of fine sandy gravel, which made riding uphill very difficult without proper tire traction. The tires on my bike were wide but had virtually no tread from over usage. When I returned the bike, I discussed the issue with another staff. He agreed that their trail bikes were not designed for my route. Instead they were designed for easier rides on a well groomed path no farther than the first 20 km's up the KVR trail. This is were the first tunnel is located, and where most cyclist turn around. I am giving this company a generous 2 stars because they provided me with a complimentary lock, helmet and a bottle holder. If you are planning a ride similar to mine, I recommend shopping around for a proper mountain bike with decent tires. If you are planning an urban ride or to visit some wineries in Naramata, this Trail Bike should be ok. If you get a flat, a repair kit is provided and you will need to know how to change a tire. One last tip, the rental shop only takes cash. There is an ATM available, but you will be dinged a surcharge for using it, so bring cash with you. Riding this area is a lot of fun, please make sure you are armed with the proper bike rented from knowledgeable staff.

First off, I want to say how much I appreciate the Penticton Bike rentals.I take my family here every summer vacation, we have been returning customers for years. My son was 3 when we first took him here and now he is 10! The staff and owner are friendly, helpful, and polite. At the rentals it feels like we have a second set of Family to visit in Penticton. My son as been calling the store owner Uncle" since our first rental. I would be at a loss on what to do for fun when we visit Penticton with out this establishment. It's a fun way to take the family out to explore the town

So glad we stopped here to rent a pedal bike! My friend and I had so much fun during the hour we had it. It feels wonderful to ride along the water and enjoy the sunshine and breeze. Wonderful way to enjoy the view and have a laugh!

E-Bikes are dated and mechanically reduced to one gear option. They literally cut the gear cable. When asked, they said it's basically to make it easier to maintain and less confusing for the riders". Well

Rented E bikes from Penticton bike rentals. The bikes are awesome! Beautiful trails you can take that are close to this bike rental place. Just overall an amazing experience. They also have other types of bikes they rent out. The guy who rented us the bikes was really nice. Great customer service! If you're in the area and want to go biking go here!

Friendly, responsible owners and quality equipment. I had the most amazing time riding along the KVR trail with their bike! Definitely the go-to rental store for biking and on-the-water equipment!
