Running Reins Ranch

Me and my husband stayed here a couple weeks ago and it was nothing but 100% perfection. First off the hospitality was wonderful, very inviting. We loved the cute little acorn cabin but the bonus tipi was the hit of the night. When we stayed it poured rain and had crazy winds but not in our tipi where we sat by the fire and got in the hot tub wind and rain free, it was perfect. But the best part of night had to be the amazing food and drink pairing. First off it was sooo much food like the breakfast was unreal lol...but everything was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone and can't wait to go back!

I honestly don't even know how to put into words how incredible our experience was. Running Reins Ranch was the exact reconnect my Boyfriend and I needed. He had been away for a while and we needed some child free TLC. From the minute we got to the property, we were greeted so warmly. Got to the cabin and to my surprise it was all cow décor (cows are my absolute favorite) We had a quick crash course in how to work everything and then had a restful afternoon together before supper. I should mention we don't drink and I let them know this ahead of time and they were beyond accommodating. Instead of a BoozyBevy with each course we were given the most delicious Mocktails. I cannot say enough good things about the food. It was INCREDIBLE every single course was absolutely perfect. The hot tub and fire was so very relaxing and the views were perfect! We stayed in the Dreamcatcher Cabin for 2 nights and selected the Romantic Package. It was very secluded and amazing! The views are incredible! The bed was super comfortable. The tipi with the fire pit and hot tub was our favorite hang out spot!! The owners/hosts are such wonderful people, their service and hospitality was the best we’ve ever had. Now on to the highlight of our weekend…The Food….SO MUCH FOOD!!! The adult pairing with each course were so creative and delicious!! The food….I can’t even put into words how INCREDIBLE everything was!!!! It cannot be described, it MUST be experienced. Maybe it was the views and the service this culinary experience offered, who knows, but it was just beyond everything we expected. I had brought a couple containers for our left overs, and I am so glad I did!!!Few things to pack- Left over containers- A cooler with ice and enough room for your left over containers- Baby Wipes- Hand Sanitizer- Coffee Mugs- Coffee Cream- Backpack with ice packs for your excursion- Towels- Bathrobes- A few water bottles (There is a big jug in the room, but we kept a couple bottles in the cooler at a time)- We brought our pillows, but we thought the ones in the cabin were very comfortable)We can’t wait to return!

My husband and I had such an amazing experience for one night for our 5 year anniversary, we had a 5 course meal, drinks, and breakfast all made by Janice. It was absolutely phenomenal! We will be recommending running reigns ranch to everyone. We will also be coming back!

I'm am so thoroughly impressed with everything that Terry and Janice have put together! The cabin is the cutest and so cozy, the amazing thought out 5 course meal all homemade was better then any restaurant! The well thought out drinks for each part of the meal was insane! The beautiful teepee with the hot tub and fire was nothing short of incredible!! Then the to die for breakfast with the ceaser that eats like a meal was top notch!! I will absolutely be going back and I highly recommend this to any couple or just a bestie trip like I had!! Well done and thank you so much to Running Reins ranch!! Definitely a 10/10!!!

We just stayed at the Running Reins Ranch and unbelievable is an understatement. There are no words to describe our experience at the Running Reins Ranch. The meals were out of this world and easily the best we’ve ever had (we’ve ate at very high end restaurants and non of them even come close to being as amazing as the food at Running Reins)! Every dish was perfect from start to finish, everything from presentation to taste was amazing! The location and cozy accommodations were amazing as well, quiet and secluded area provided a romantic retreat for us! The hot tub inside the teepee was amazing! Hiking the trails out to the view of the river valley was a nice bonus! We will 100% be returning and will be recommending this outstanding experience to everyone we know (and don’t know)! Everything was perfect including the very kind and respectful owners/hosts! Janice and Terry have an amazing place and provide and amazing experience!

My wife and I stayed at Running Reins Ranch recently for her birthday. I can’t say enough great things about Terry and Janice and the overall experience. It’s one of the best values you will find for an overall experience. First of all, Terry and Janice are amazing hosts, great to talk to and are meticulous with detail. We did the romantic package with the Acorn cabin. Everything was clean, bed was comfy and the personal hot tub and fire pit inside the teepee was an awesome experience. Janice is an unreal cook and makes everything homemade, the food and drink pairings were unbelievable. Make sure you bring your appetite as the portions are plentiful. 100% we will be back again.

First time visiting here. Let me tell you I will be returning. The privacy of these cabins and tepees are truly just yours for the weekend with a few exceptions. THE FOOD. The food is top notch I mean I have never ever ate anything this good in a high end restaurant. Terry and Janice are your Hosts for the weekend, Terry always made sure firewood and anything we needed for the cabin including snow shoes, along with the lay of the land even available to tour you to one of the most breath taking look outs. Now for his partner Janice she truly a top tier chef with amazing breakfast that will leave you in a total food coma. The Five course dinner on Saturday with paired adult beverages are again out of this world. These two have the best things to offer, Cozy quiet living with just the right things to feel like home. Second the food of a top tier restaurant. Couple things bring your hunger and your own pillow, but the mattress was like sleeping on a cloud. Thanks you from the bottoms of our hearts for allowing us to live but a moment on your beautiful ranch and take in it all ourselves. Roger and Kristy Roberts.

Wow! Terry and Janice are incredible hosts. The land they own is unbelievably beautiful. The views are breath taking. The tipi (with hot tub!) and little acorn cabin’s were a perfect mix of rustic and comfort. We did the date night, which include meals that were equal to the views in which we were looking at as we ate. Being there on Canada day, they had a pig roast and party (with fireworks). Wonderful place to disconnect. Thanks Terry and Janice.
