Stopped at this chain location on a Saturday lunch, surprisingly but not busy at all, we’re the only customers at this time, friendly casual atmosphere, convenient location with customers parking, close to downtown Oshawa

Halibut House Fish & Chips
I had the one piece Halibut dinner. It had one good sized piece of of halibut nestled on a bed of fresh cut fries. Also a nice vinegar based Coleslaw on the side. The fish was cooked to perfection and tasted light and fresh. Loved the halibut with its golden crispy batter and light flavor. The chips were good old basic fresh cut fries. This is a great place to go for halibut, I will be back again for sure.

Anyvother time we go we enjoy having our fish and chips this particular day the server was great but our food was just awful.. the fish was dry and the fries were old. We mentioned to the server and she told us the cook was in a bad mood and she could only take my pop off.. we will not be coming back here

one item was missing and the fish and chips were quite dark and tasted burnt. I do not recommend .

Very clean and tidy family type restaurant. The decor really does have a fun seaside" feel to it. The value and quality of our meals was top notch and our server was very attentive and super friendly! Definitely a place to make a regular stop!"

A great, reasonably priced, unpretentious, mom and pop Fish $ Chips restaurant in Oshawa...they also serve great hamburgers as well. I really like this sleepy, friendly restaurant!

Prices went up on Breakfast special, its ridiculous .Portions are small and higher prices. Won;t be returning .You want a deal for breakfast don;t go here. Many other options in Oshawa that include coffee and for same price you get more then 1 egg for same price .

Server was nice and polite, attentive and quick.Fish and coleslaw was really good.Fries were kinda dry tasting. Which was unusual.
