A friendly warning: appointments mean nothing here, and the customer service was more-or-less non-existent. I took the day off work and hired a nanny so I could get some maintenance done, showed up and was told they couldn't fit me in because they had too many other jobs from drop ins. I was told to bring my vehicle in the early morning next time with the other drop ins (which would have been amazing advice... yesterday). So I lost a day of wages and had to pay child care for nothing.I understand things can get a little crazy, but they knew they wouldn't be able to fit me in hours earlier; you would think I would at least get a quick call or text. They didn't even try to book me a new appointment. Just kind of a shrug and better luck next time"."

They have a nice feature where it tells you what isle, and when you get to the isle it flashes the electronic price tag where the item is...brilliant idea, but they need to sort inventory first, if the item isn't on the shelf or the item in the space is not that item you are looking for.Inventory online is very spotty...I don't bother going if anything says 1 left in stock unless I am extremely desperate and cant wait until amazon delivers the next day.They should learn that 1 left in stock usually means none on the shelf, maybe its in the back or on a shelf where its not supposed to be or walked out the door!

The two young men who help with loading the bags of mulch and other garden products into my vehicle are terrific. They are consistently pleasant and accommodating. I greatly appreciate their assistance. Because of them I choose to shop at this location for all my mulch, potting soil and similar products.

I love walking around Canadian Tire checking out all of the amazing deals they have. Recently picked up some bike accessories.Bike season! But we ended up at Walmart

I recently visited the Canadian Tire store at west side and unfortunately had a very negative experience with one of the managers in the auto department. When I asked for help with a specific car issue, the manager was incredibly rude and dismissive towards me.I found their attitude to be very off-putting and unprofessional. I was expecting a much better level of customer service, especially from a manager. Their tone of voice and body language made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome in the store.While the rest of the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful, this manager's behavior really stood out in a negative way. It made me think twice about shopping at Canadian Tire in the future.I believe that the manager's behavior was unacceptable and could have been handled in a much more professional manner. I would appreciate it if Canadian Tire would take steps to ensure that their employees are trained to treat customers with respect and courtesy at all times.I hope that Canadian Tire takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary changes to improve the customer experience in their auto department. I look forward to seeing positive changes in the future.

Good selection of herbs, flowers, and plants for a decent price.Key cut centre was placed at the front instead of the usual store layout near the paint section.Cashier provided a box to hold my plants and was very nice!

Not satisfied with the service at all. If a client show a picture of a product it means client want that specifically to avoid return or exchange. Pay attention not just assume that you know or you are familiar to every product you are selling. Good thing if the customer service area is always a full house most of the time only one or two people working on that area so the waiting time takes forever. You should at least say sorry for the inconvenience of you customers. So , disappointed

They say if you buy your tires at Canadian Tire you get free tire repair. This maybe the truth but be prepared to wait for hours to have this done at the Can Tire West EDM location. This is the second time I have experienced this kind of wait . The first time was a almost 3 hours ( went mid afternoon),so thought I would arrive first thing in the morning to save time to have my second repair done. The fellow at the desk who helped me said there was 2 tire repairs ahead, which I understand so I took a seat in the waiting room. When I went to follow up a hour later because my car had not even been pulled in , I was completely ignored by the clerk. He was digging items out of his pockets and then started typing away as if I was invisible, even though I was standing 3 feet in front of him . At that point after standing there a while and obviously feeling a bit embarrassed, I asked for my keys back. He stood up quickly, went and got my keys and brought them back without saying not one word to me! Poor service for sure ! Won’t be back! Suggestion of the day. Buy your tires at Costco! They offer free QUICK repair with friendly staff that communicate!

Today I was discriminated at this store and told to leave for absolutely no reason. James the store manager had literally kicked me out of the store after buying 7 Cans of expensive paint. I walked back in to buy the screws for my project however I was stopped by James who gave me 0 reasoning for why he was asking me to leave. He said because I returned paint earlier I cannot buy more? This makes no sense at all.I spent money at this Canadian Tire very often. Today I spent over 200 and was told to leave and not come back. This is completely unacceptable.I would never recommend anyone to go to this location and also avoid James if possible, as he is unprofessional and gave little to no proper explanation at all. I have the video to prove it.Mitchell was at least able to give me names of the store superintendent which is Corey.This establishment marginalized me and kicked me out for no reason. Perhaps it’s because I am native. I will get to the bottom of this. Highly recommend not shopping at this location anytime soon.I hope the owners take this seriously and help me get justice. I would like to continue my shopping here but need to see improvements from the mangers.

A well-run, consistent Canadian retailer with strategically located stores full of knowledgeable staff and well-stocked shelves. I like Canadian Tire because they are the antithesis of the behemoth called Walmart. I like their automotive department. They always seem to have non-original replacement parts for my car that work. They answer phones. Overall, in this very challenging retail environment, they are holding their own and staying the course. Good luck. We need them badly.
