Let me start by saying that the staff were extremely friendly! They were really nice. That’s kind of where it stops. We were seated right away, however, it took them about 20 minutes to come take our orders. We also didn’t even get to ask for drinks until they came to take our food order. After that, it was another long wait, about a half an hour to 40 minutes before we got our food. We had had a long day and were starving and should have honestly gone elsewhere just because of the wait time alone, about an hour total. The fish and chips were okay. It came with a tiny container of coleslaw (which wasn’t too bad) and two pieces of fish (which was bland, except for the crispy skin, the lemon slice and their tartar sauce) and quite a bit of fries. That was probably the best part of my meal. The Moose burger platter came with a very thin patty. Definitely not at all a burger we were used to as it was rather small for the price. It also came with the same fries and coleslaw as the fish and chips did. It’s not a place we would go to again.

We ordered the seafood platter, with shrimp, scallops and cod, CAD 31,00. But what a disappointment: the plate was over 80% soggy, non-crispy fries, 3 shrimp on a stick, 3 tiny scallops (1,5 cm), a small piece of salmon 2,5 cm wide and a small piece of cod. For this price I definitely expect more and most restaurants in town are better and cheaper.

The menu selection seemed great, but our choices were a bit underwhelming. We got cod tongues and the seafood platter, which were decent, but the rice and carrots that came in the side were bland and underwhelming. Adding a beer, tip and tax, it came to $50 pp. While the food wasn't outright bad, it was pretty underwhelming for such a high cost, particularly compared to other options in town.

Sunday night dinner in Rocky harbour. Food and service was terrific. We had the seafood chowder, bacon wrapped scallops, and fish and chips. All were done very well and tasted fresh. Soup was a cod, halibut, and salmon chowder. Very thick and tasty. We order the homemade partridge berry pie with ice cream - delicious! Very nice taste and something you don’t get very often.

Nice restaurant went there twice. Good food. The only issue is you pay at the register, not at the table. The line to leave can be long. If you allow for this delay you should have a great time.

The restaurant was super busy in the evening with lots of travelers coming into the park, they made sure we were taken care of well. Menu had a big selection and both the items we chose were fresh made hot and came out fairly quickly. Considered going back again during our short time in Gross Morne because of the great experience

The best restaurant in Gros Morne National park!! We ended up visiting them twice during our trip. We were recommended this place by a person who lives in deer lake. We saw there were a lot of locals came in and that's always a good sign.We had fish and briews, fish burger platter, steak plate, fisherman delight plate. They are all tasty!! My favorite was the fisherman delight plate which came with shrimp and scallop skew, a salmon, two cods, carrots and rice pilaf. There are so many seafood on my plate and I couldn't be more happier!!Highly recomend this place!

We came here for 2 dinners while visiting Newfoundland! We always found parking right next to the restaurant. As soon as we entered we were greeted and seated by the kindest crew ever.On the first day we ordered vegetarian chilli with rice and bread, stir fry vegetables they also came with some rice at the bottom, ice cream to treat ourselves after a good hike that day.On the second day we ordered, fried salmon came with rice and carrots, Greco's vegetarian pizza.Everything was freshly prepared and tasted amazing!I highly recommend this place to all my friends who are visiting the Rocky harbour area in Newfoundland.

The hostess and the server were really nice but service was quite slow - that said, I wasn’t in a rush. I was hungry and this place was the only restaurant open during off season in Rocky Harbour. Had the Cod au Gratin and the Fish Chowder and the ShrimpTo go. Was pleasantly surprised by the meal and the Fish Chowder was tasty with big chunks of fish. The view was great as a got to sit at the front and had a lovely view of the sunset.
