Barrie Hill Farms
Our second time being to Barrie Hill Farms and both times our family had a great experience. The staff are friendly, reasonable pricing for pick your own berries (great tasting also), ample parking and space to pick berries, and great treats at Silo Cafe. I can't say we have any big complaints! Highly recommend! We live 30 minutes away but this will definitely be our go-to place for berries and a fun time!

My daughters and I sorta have a tradition going on, to try and go strawberry picking every year. Not only is it fun (and fun to make pies afterwards ) but especially the strawberries this year were all so perfect. And very friendly staff.See you next year Barrie Hill Farms!!!!

We had the best time today picking Rasberries & Blueberries... there was plenty to pick & the berries are SO good. The farm is maintained really well & the staff are super friendly & kind.They charge a $7 entrance fee per person, but you can redeem it against the berries you purchase. It's so worth it & we'd come here again (:There is a farm shop with fresh vegetables, meat, berries, sauces, pies to choose from.We really enjoyed our time here today. Thanks so much for being so organized & maintaining the fields so well (: Keep it up guys!!

I want to be fair with this review. The farm is great and well run. It supports employment and offers quality products. My concern is the pricing policies for pick your own" berries. We should have read and understood the policy before we jumped on the wagon. We went with our family to take the grandchildren out for a basket of berries. However

It’s my first time in Barrie hill farms and it was a really good experience. The wagon ride to the farm was amazing even though it was a bit bumpy. Kids will have a really fun time here. The staff really deserve an appreciation! They were so nice and welcoming. The strawberries we also so good.

Courteous staff and good tractor ride. Fields are quite huge and good amount of berries available. No picnic tables inside the fields however.

I first went to Barrie Hill Farm two years ago. The strawberry I ate then was the best strawberry of my life. That year, I ate one tenth of the strawberries from Barrie Hill Farm. I kept checking the website last year and bought a huge amount of strawberries as soon as they opened, but they were just Canadian strawberries. hard and tasteless. I had to make a huge amount of strawberry jam. And I found it again today at the farm opening on June 20, 2023. It was delicious. And it became cleaner. It's still very small in size, but it's soft and sweet. Let's go to the strawberry festival.

Amazing place! You can go into the fields to pick your own stuff (strawberries, raspberries, sugar snap peas, regular peas, snow peas, blueberries, asparagus, beans, apples...) or you can purchase from the market setup at the entrance. The pick your own is a great experience that is fun for all ages. They also have signs that tell you what crops are good to pick that day. I go back every year!

Quite n different nice and pleasant experience. Had immense fun while picking fresh Raspberry and Blackberries from plants directly. We were about an week late for strawberry picking. Good big farm with other varieties too like apples, blueberries, pumpkins, etc. Need to watch the picking schedule on website before visit.
