It took 25 minutes in line but fully worth the wait the cooking time was what was expected the items are cooked to order this is why it took time in line.This is by far the best chips and fish I have had in a long time. It even beets my go to in Brockville.

2022 update: New truck, new faces, same great fish and chips! Still my go to for fresh cod!Fantastic! I had a 2 piece fish and chips with a battered dill pickle. It was soooo good. The fish was fresh, crispy and not greasy. The fries were perfection, crispy but not dried out or greasy. I come from a family of fisherman in Newfoundland and this is the best fish and chips I've had outside of my mother's kitchen.

We had a shrimp burger, a fish and chips with a fried pickle. Our meals were really delicious. The only remarks I could give is to cook a bit more the fries because ours missed one or two minutes in the fryer. They could have been more crispy.Other than that everything was excellent. We will come back!

Service was friendly, fish and shrimp were fresh. Great tasting and flakey white fish, hot and well made fries, delicious slaw and tartar sauce. 4 people were in our party and we all agreed the food was yummy and the portions were generous.

Excellent fish and chip. They no longer have cod now for fish and chips and only haddock. Got a 2 piece and one of the best fish and chips I ever had.Not sure if I am willing to drive 35 minutes from me, especially when price was same or higher than a restaurant in Ottawa I go to with very good fish and chips too but I lived fir 2 years in UK and go out for fish and chips regularly there. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area but undecided if it is worth a 1 hr round trip...

I decided to try Cheeky Chippy for lunch and I was not disappointed. I ordered the 1 piece haddock and fries. I was pleasantly surprised to find a little dish of cole slaw, which was not included last year. The slaw had a Thai sesame ginger type dressing which went really well with the fish and chips. The fries were the best I've had in a very long time! The prices are about the same as last year and the fish is as good! I will make this my go to place for fish and chips! UPDATE! I went back today, July 7th 2023 for lunch. The food is still as fabulous and the service is as well! I like going for lunch because there isn't the long line like there can be at dinner time. That being said, the food is worth the wait. I feel for them having to work in these sweltering conditions but they do it with a smile. I look forward to my next lunch meal from Cheeky Chippy!

There were nine of us and we were out on a off-road Tour on the side by sides and four wheeler. We stopped by The Cheeky chippy to grab some fries. The lady who served us could have used a little bit more customer service experience and the fries could have been cooked for a few more minutes as they were hard in the middle. Ketchup must be really expensive because she gave us the evil eye when we asked for more! Definitely will give this place a second thought if we go there again.

Under new management, the Cheeky Chippy was able to maintain the quality we've been used to. If you have a dog, make sure to bring them so Dave (the owner) can come say hi ;)

Second year I have visited this amazing food truck and the food is just as good as it was the first time. The staff there are super friendly and awesome and always happy to see new people. The fish and chips are phenomenal, deep fried well without being over greasy and good fish quality. The battered sausages and pickles are also great. The also now have really great cheeky merch. Highly recommended and well worth the drive from anywhere.Update June 2023: Still just as good as it has been and it was very lovely to meet Donna and Dave. The fish and chips with salmon and the maple syrup were new to us and quite good. Once again high recommended and worth the trip!

Incredibly disappointed. New ownership and the quality has not continued.Fish was overcooked, and lower quality, shrimp was small, the menu selection has decreased, and the prices are astonishing.And to top it off, the fries were obviously reheated.
