Valley First Aid Training

Corey came up to Blue River to do the Occupational First Aid Level 1 for our employees. So important for us as we're quite far from a hospital. It was a great mix of theory and practical and she kept us engaged throughout.

Did not have a good experience at all, owner of company was teaching EMR class. Could tell he really did not want to be there. Was not set up for success. Disrespected his assistant. Would never recommend. Lots of better options available.

Well run with qualified professional instructors. I just completed my level 2 OFA with Heather as our instructor. I have taken OFA before for Level3 and 1 with other instructors at other schools. I have to say that this was the best class I’ve had! Clear, direct with related experience! I highly recommend booking your first aid class with her!Thanks

I’ve done my occupational first aid level three here four times and I just keep coming back. Joe is very knowledgeable and gives you tips and tricks the books don’t. I’ve had different instructors and all of them have been great! Highly recommend coming here for all your first aid needs

At first when everyone was in groups and asked to do something, nobody moved. I decided to take the lead and at least try to do what the instructor had asked, didn't do it perfectly and was singled out and treated unfairly for the rest of the class (level 1 first aid). I was basically the guy who lays down on the barbed wire so the other soldiers can walk over top of him.Later we were asked and expected to remove our socks in front of everybody for a training exercise that shouldn't require you to actually do that. I had a busted toe nail that I was self conscious about, asked if I could leave my socks on, and the instructor loudly embarrassed me in front of everybody.The instructor seemed irritated and impatient before the class even began.

Received my first aid certificate here. My instructor was very friendly and helpful. She seemed very good at changing her instruction to suit who she was teaching. Was very nice to see a quality teacher that knew her stuff. This was my first time getting a first aid certificate so I really benefited from the quality instructions.

After the course I asked around in different areas and towns and was met with extreme interest to help me they thought I was unfairly treated, and my dyxlexia should of not been used to kick me but instead help me understand, I talked to one young fellow and they educated him right thru the 2 weeks and past.Do not recommend at all

This was my first Level 3 First Aid course. The instructor was incredibly knowledgeable, personable and kept the class moving at a brisk pace. I appreciated the straight forward no nonsense approach. The instructor gave excellent feedback, with great exercises given at a good speed and were very well communicated. The instructor made everyone feel very comfortable, and able to contribute. I will definitely recommend this training to others. I also plan to attend Valley First Aid again in the future for re-certification. This is not an easy course however it was an excellent experience.

It was an amazing experience with Carmen she is very detailed and making sure that we understand the way she teach us. I learn a lot from her. I am so grateful that I got her as my instructor.
