The Rebel House
Went here on a date after a movie. I had the Club sandwich and my date had the grilled cheese with extra bacon. Both sandwiches were amazing, and the chips that came with them were phenomenal. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Charming British Pub with delicious comfort food on the menu. Service was very fast and pleasant. The food was amazing. We had the meatloaf and the chicken pot pie and we didn’t leave anything on the plate.Definitely want to go again.If you feel like comfort food this is a good place for it.

I joined a group of friends who have been coming to Rebel House for several years now, and I can totally see why.The ambiance is very casual and lively, and the staff is super friendly and attentive.They have a good selection of drinks, and their Guinness is actually one of the few good pours that I have found in the city.The food is also quite tasty with satisfying portions.

I went to this restaurant with a couple of guys from my office for a bite after work. The ambience was nice and very old school looking. They have a beautiful back patio if you can get seating there it’s recommended. They have a nice drink selection of hard liquor and beers on tap. Tonight we all had the same thing which was the bison burger. It was tasty and not over the top with toppings more of a classic burger. We shared their famous fries which are a mix of frie and potato chip they were delicious. House salad had a nice dressing on it as well. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet nice spot for a after work dinner or even a date night.

Although there is not a lot of space, I love their patio. Their margarita was for $8 during the happy hours, so my partner ordered that, and I just got the regular tall beer ($7.95).The server couldn't remember what my partner ordered, so he came back and asked again. After the liquor came, we felt that their margarita had no alcohol at all, and the sweetness of the whole glass was very light. We all wondered if they forgot to add tequila.For the food, I ordered spinach and apple salad with chicken, and my partner wanted to get a Buffalo burger. My meal was correct, but my partner's was wrong, which also didn’t taste good. The salad was okay, and I felt all the ingredients were from the bags.Overall, a disappointing experience. The margarita was tasteless, and the food was not impressive. I hope they could do better in the future.

I have always loved this place the back patio is amazing in the summer and the service is always top notch. Cool little menu that offers something different from your average boring pub fare it reminds me of my favourite secret gem gastro pubs in London. The best local you could ask for.

Rebel House is a classic pub with great food and service. I had the pasta special and my friend a few appetizers - both great. It was busy and had good atmosphere.

Rating closer to a 3.5. The service was excellent and the place is unique and cozy with patio options. The place comes with good history and great for catching up with drinks. There is a great drinks menu (including virgin drinks). The food option for brunch/lunch is simple but still with good amount of choices. The kettle fries are kettle chips (unique). The food overall is mediocre. It's clean and in good portion but nothing too special or amazing tasting.

Came because close to venue for a beer, left with a new favourite restaurant in the area. Service was incredible and happy to accommodate our group. And the food! Wow. We were having a small Halifax reunion, garlic fingers and donair sauce on the specials menu! Obvious choice for the table...and then... The Salisbury steak. Out of the world. 10/10 so glad I found a new spot to bring my friends... And .. even my parents! Love this spot.
