I've had a great experience at hairclub so far. I met with Aly for consultation and she addressed all my needs. I then found the EXT program where my stylist Aisha has been amazing so far. Would highly recommend!

I would never usually go out of my way to write a bad review but, I am still suffering till this day over the mockery they made of my hair. I have been a member in North York Hair Club since October 2022 and still struggling with my hair. Very poor quality of service.. Despite of visiting them 2-3 times in a month, the same issue repeating again and again, The hair designer doesn’t even know what she is doing with my hair. Yesterday she glued the hair piece almost one inch away from the original hair line and the back of the hair piece glued on top my original hairs. Very disappointed of their poor services.Please be careful and think 100 times before you convinced to spent so much of amount for your desire outcome from this place. As of today I just got anxieties with my hair style from them.

Their EXT hair regrowth program is expensive and does not work. They will sell you on it based on an outlier and at the end of the program tell you that the reality is that most people at the end of a year actually get 1-2 strands of hair back in a small area. No volume of hair increase, or silkiness of hair. That keeping the sheding of hair static is fantastic! Also, that hair regrowth is dependent on so many factors like stress. So, basically, they are hoping that within a year, your stress levels decrease enough for your hair to normally grow back and then say their product worked. Also, if you do have issues with your scalp they will not recommend you go to see a dermatologist or your family doctor, but at the end of the program will tell you that they are not doctors and you should have seen one, basically admitting they are not experts on hair. Please be aware that the monoxil ( aka rogaine) that they use can dry out your scalp for some people leading to an itchy scalp, they will not tell you that, they will tell you that until you confront them about it.Save yourself a lot of money by using herbal essence scalp rejuvenation shampoo and a good hairmask ( e.g one with argon oil), it does better results and less damage on the wallet. What they use is a shampoo, conditioner, and rogaine. Just use herbal essence, a good hair mask with argon oil, and rogaine. Same model but better results. They sometimes give you a scalp cleaner or hair mender, but there was clearly no visible effects with it. They gave you a hair massager, which falters at times. Get one if you feel like it, it might work. Online reviews says it works to bring oxygen to the head. Exercise and water does the same! Both are available for free!They will not refund you or offer you any compensation for the no results after being misled by false advertising.

Today I had an appointment with Christine in North York. She listened to the way to wanted my hair and I am very happy with my style. Hairclub is very professional and I enjoy coming here.

I have been coming here for over a year now doing the EXT program. And I have had a very good experience at the toronto 229 centre. My stylist is Aisha and I really enjoy my treatments and haircuts. Everyone at very nice and professional.
