Cougar Mountain Lodge

A jewel of Valemount. During the 2017/2018 winter season I've brought/introduce many people to Cougar mountain lodge. The down side. Booking for 2018/2019 season they're full(for the days I'd like to booke). Stay once and you'll become a regular. For a sledder.....there's a drying room, a spereate out building with a kitchenette, couches, washroom, and TV. A hot tub. The host, Justina and Kevin Trach provide a warm family friendly environment. Kevin's cooking is top shelf.

Kevin and Justina made us feel right at home like we were just hanging out at a friends place. Justina cooked us a delicious supper, but the coffee in the morning was the highlight of my stay. Best coffee in the world, period.

The Lodge was very clean and well setup. Everyone in our snowmobile group had a great sleep. The owners went out of their way to help us get sled parts brought in from out of town. Highly recommend for group snowmobile trips, 10/10.

This place it's amazing. Best value for money out there. Justina and Kevin care a lot about the experience.

Amazing log cabin, amazing breakfast cooked to order, comfy beds, and fantastic hosts. Everything youre looking for in a bed and breakfast!

First time staying here this week and all I can say is we cannot wait to be back! Justina and Kevin are great hosts and give you an at home" atmosphere. Kevins recommendations even got us to a new riding area with great snow and low usage numbers. If you guys want the real sledding deal then stay here!"

My friend and I stayed 2 nights and were so very impressed. Justina and Kevin are lovely people, very caring and down to earth. The B and B itself is absolutely gorgeous and feels like home. I would absolutely recommend the B and B to everyone and anyone.

Above and beyond.The B&B offers gorgeous, spacious rooms, with a large common area and huge garden to enjoy - complete with garden furniture and a hot tub.Kevin and Justina are amazing hosts - they will do anything to make you more comfortable or make you enjoy your stay in the area even better. You’ll feel at home instantly.Don’t think about morning snacking or an early lunch, the breakfast at this B&B is simply amazing (fresh, homemade, cooked before you, and enormous!). The menu choice for breakfast is unique and simply great.We loved the area - and stayed 5 nights. Around Valemount the biggest attraction has to be mount robson - the walk up to Kinney lake is a must. We also hiked around the area - Mica mountain (a very tough walk), and little lost lake (a nice easier walk). We spent two days in Jasper - around an hours drive away, but allow around 1hours20mins as you’ll be slowing down to appreciate the awesome views or looking for wildlife.We dined in Valemount at the local caribou grill, happy panda Chinese and riverside cafe and would recommend them all. This B&B has everything you need.
