Burnt Elm Public School

Most teachers here are really nice some are a bit harsh though, Ms. Cook the librarian was amazing so were Mrs. Haynes, Mrs. Virk, and Ms. Radman

In 2012, at this school, a female teacher who taught a grade 5 class here, was extremely rude and annoying. I believe her last name started with a B. Even more annoying than Jameson. This teacher was so disgusting and annoying and made students feel inferior and humiliated for something as little as knocking a door. Even going so far to question if their parents taught them to be good people in life. The students were only 11. Overall, this disgraceful teacher who was not much to look at in the physical department (obese and had a face resembling a sweaty boar), and was much worse in the mental department finally left the school after many years of harassing students because her husband did not show her enough love at home. Thank a miracle.

This school was great! Just some one the teachers were a bit harsh. Ms. Huang was really sweet! She made teaching quite fun. The gym teachers were rubbish and toxic, I'm glad I don't have to see them anymore. I ABSOLUTELY HATE the principal, Brulotte. She's really wack and upset all of the times.

The worst school to ever exist. We have a bad experience with this school, whenever a problem comes they never solve it. The teachers are low quality teaching. Bad

Mrs. Jamieson and Mr. Harding were very harsh and rude to their students. The janitors were also annoying and didn’t do their job half the time. The principals and vice principals between 2010-2012 were just straight up bad. Mr. Wilkinson was weird and inappropriate with kids. A lot of old, power tripping men and women who are mad they didn’t do much with their lives.

Wilkinson & Jamieson were obnoxious and useless teachers. Oh and by the way Wilkinson, I wasn’t wrong, I corrected you because I added you as part of the count in the classroom. Not only were you wrong, but you tried to correct me who was correcting you, and you were still wrong :). Not that it matters, you pathetic old man.

I was a student here for 7 years,wasnt too bad. Everything Went Downhill By Grade 3 ,And then Rose back up around grade 5. Teachers are sometimes nice,some are rude,some are in-between,my only complaint is that every year,I would be bullied and teachers would barely do anything about it.and I would be in trouble for fighting back.overall a 9/10 school

I studied there for 3 years and the teachers were awesome. I was super sad when i had to leave the school. Ive been to a nice private school. However, no school can touch burnt elm. Take my advice and enroll your child here.

My son started school here as a newcomer in December 2022. He did not speak English at all when he first started. After 5 months, he came a long way and can now communicate very well. His teachers, especially Mrs Gabor and Mrs Meden, are wonderful and very supportive. He was very happy and he learned a lot. Overall a great great school!
