Recently purchased an ebike and needed a few items to get going. I first went into this store a few weeks ago having never been here. Mackenzie greeted me when I went in and was absolutely incredible helping me out. He was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. I got exactly what I needed and he even went out of his way to call me a few days later about GPS bike trackers that I enquired about but weren't in stock. I've never really noticed how important customer service is before but Mackenzie was so helpful and friendly that I'll never shop anywhere else. Even if I had to pay more for something I'd go to this shop because I know they'll take care of me and get me exactly what I need and not pressure me into something I don't want. I'd give more stars if I could.

I recently visited 3417 50 ave location. I was blown by the exceptional service. The staff Ryley N was amazing, he was so friendly and and attentive. I highly recommend Mud sweat and gears to anyone.

Got some helpful advice for cleaning up my squeaky brake pads as well as replacing them, I ended up messing my brake calliper up a bit backing up the outboard side too much making the brake obsolete, the guys in the back took it and fixed it up no issues for me which I greatly appreciate. Highly recommend the store probably has the coolest selection of bikes in the city !

These guys are awesome!! Phoned about my brake coming unhooked on a ride, and when I got there they fixed my issue within 5 min no charge! I'll definitely be coming back!! :)

Came here searching for a new bike and was helped by Seth and another employee (can’t remember his name). They were knowledgeable and super friendly. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a bike!

I am an 80s baby and my memories of skate/bike shops have always been that the staff was too cool to answer questions of people who didn't know thier stuff. Not at this amazing place, the staff here are knowledgeable, friendly and help you fine what is right for you. Shopping with this incredible team feels personalized and way better than any big box store. Every experience I have had there , from getting my son a bike to snowboards, and skis for me has been exceptional. They have definitely won my loyal business, I will not be shopping anywhere.

I love this new location! The staff is quick to greet you, but don't hover. Very helpful and knowledgeable, will definitely be back to buy many more big boy toys!

Great shop! Always very friendly and helpful! I live in Calgary and have travelled to Red Deer on more than one occasion to purchase from these guys. Including my personal road bike and a friends first road bike! Great vibe and welcoming attitude from everyone in the shop.

Went to Mud Sweat and Gears today looking for a bolt for my sons bike . There was someone to greet me at the entrance asked me what I needed. I told him he I needed a bolt handed him what I needed. He brought me to the back , looked in a couple places found it right away . I explained to him that I bought a bike from sports check and they’re absolutely useless there . Told him I will never buy any more of our bikes or anything from sports check , told him my daughter needs a bike and I will be back to buy it from him . I thanked him for helping me. Friendly , knowledgeable , quick , very cheerful . Brought me up to the till to pay . Cashier was happy and friendly . Very clean organized shop . Lots of bike selections . I will be back for sure . Got home and put the bolt in my sons bike . So his crank for his peddle is all back together . I will have a happy little boy ! Nice to actually have good service .

I've been here dozens of times. Ive bought a couple pairs of skis, gotten bindings, multiple pairs of ski boots, had skis and bikes tuned here many times. I've never had anything less than the best service.Side note: Don't 1 star review a place because an estimate was wrong. It's called an estimate for a reason.
