Cold Fire Creek Dogsledding

This was one of the most amazing experiences we've had in a long time. The weather worked out in our favour. It was sunny and not too cold. We were greeted by the friendly staff and excited dogs. We got to say hello to and pet the dogs. We learned their names and it was quick to see they all had their own personalities! Before the 60min mush, we were briefed on how to use the sled and on the commands. The mush itself was AMAZING. The landscape was beautiful and serene, the dogs we great. Ashleigh accompanied us on our sled. She was so fantastic. She shared some great info about the dogs, kennel, the surroundings and gave us great tips on navigating the sled. We had a great time chatting with her and shared some laughs. At the end of the mush, we got to enjoy some delicious apple cider and home made treats. This was truly a magical experience and I would do it again! Highly recommend Cold Fire Creek - they are great!

My friend and I did the 60 minute musher and it was a great introductory experience!! Our guide Carla was fantastic! Very knowledgeable about sledding and the dogs. I was hesitant to try driving but she encouraged me to give it a shot and I’m so glad I did. Cold Fire Creek tours are on the pricier side compared to dog sledding options in Lake Louise and Canmore but worth the cost. The business is family run and the dogs are clearly loved and well cared for. My friend and I liked the experience so much we are thinking of going again for a longer tour.

The trail was beautiful, snow covered pines and complete wilderness. To make it even more magical large snowflakes fell our entire ride! ❄ There was no wind in the forest and sunshine was peeking through. We were never cold. Our guide Danielle was wonderful company. She was knowledgeable and super friendly, we would definitely recommend her for a good time. The lunch spot is nestled in the forest, around campfire. We were cooked and served lunch and hot apple cider! And of course the dogs were adorable and so happy! Each had their unique personalities and you really got to know who was who in the pack lol. Very entertaining! Thank you!

My husband and I have been today on 3 hours tour. We enjoyed our new experience. The crew worked hard to make our adventure the best possible. Amanda made us all feel confident with the dogs and sleds. Plus great question answer session during our lunch. We definitely recommend them to everyone.

Amazing experience. It was my first time dogsledding, and everything was made easy. Highly recommended.

Went to Jasper for Dogsledding offered by Cold Fire Creek. The owner bumped all of the people that came in favour of some tour groups, than told all of her staff to shorten the trip for anyone not on the tour group because They won't know the difference". We paid $40 for a 4minute ride. The staff members were lovely

Went on the 3hr tour this December with some friends as a day trip from Jasper. It was a lot of fun! The dogs are silly and seem to really enjoy their jobs". I had a broken leg and they accommodated me with no issues. Beautiful sights to see in the snow. A lunch is served with cider to drink and snacks. Would definitely recommend

We had an amazing dog sled tour today. Was a great experience giving the opportunity to be the Musher which booking this tour I was not aware I would be doing but this made my day . The staff was very friendly and helpful to team the dogs through the trails. This is definately a must to do and we will be back again next year. Thanks again!!!
