Terrible grocery store.. always empty, quality is horrible, and everyone constantly looks miserable to the point that you almost feel as though asking for help is a chore.. would not recommend!Maybe management should be replaced, give the store a new sense of direction because as of now it is a failing company compared to independent!

Shelves ate stocked the place is clean. People are friendly. Smaller store so less variety is expected. It's a good place to go for your household staples and all at a good price.

Cashier dod not pay attention. The guy ahead of me was paying with cell. It did not go thru and she lost him. Could not find find him. They reversed the sale.was a lost.She messed up with my lotto tickets. Gave me a ticket with 6 plays. I did not ask for that and she just tried to make me pay until i paid attention to total and check tickets.Another cashier did not know how to refund for item not wanted because it was not the right item for sale price on shelf.New staff on front line not trained.What a mess.

Clean place, decent prices, easily accessible by bus (bus stop across the street). Thank you to the others for noting it's a clean place. I'm the cleaner for the Chelmsford store and work hard to give the shoppers a clean place to shop.

Clean store, very friendly staff, decently stocked with products you won't get at other places.Meats and fresh veggies are typical for Food Basics. Still prefer to buy those elsewhere. Excellent prices, will be a regular customer.

Pros:Happy workers, good serviceCleanCons:Not much of a selection or verity.With metro gone, no more Deli,No more bakery,And there isn't a butcher.Prices are meh. I continue to go here for basic groceries as it's in walking distance to my home as oppose to the alternatives.
