Browns

Amazing service at Yorkdale today. Three different folks helped me — the cashier looked up sizes, and two different sales people patiently worked through best fit and size for me between men's and women's sizes. They were friendly, down to earth, and calm. Nothing was too much trouble. One of the sales people could have sold me my own shoes. She was a hoot, and sold me a cleaner as well as a potential pair of flip flops from the same brand when a new shipment comes in. They made everything easy, and that is not a simple task while they and customers are stressed during this pandemic. Thank you, Browns Shoes Yorkdale!

Terrible service.. as soon as I walked in I felt judged and extremely uncomfortable. I had a bunch of shoes in my hand and not 1 of the sales associates asked me if I wanted a size (the store was empty), when I walked up to one of them to ask for a size it felt like I was bothering them.. never going back to this location every again.

We were helped by Dante today and he was fantastic. We were there with my cousin and my girlfriend, the staff there went truly above and beyond to help my cousin with a pair of winter boots that are also chic.My cousin is impossible to shop for, even with her there but the entire store was staff did their best to cater to her needs and taste. They have a huge verity of products.I recommend Browns at York Dale Mall.

I had such a poor experience at this store. I had been holding a couple pairs of boots for a while before someone came to help me, but to be fair it was very busy so that’s easily forgiven. What’s unfortunate is that the man who came to help me (tall slender guy with an accent) was so preoccupied trying to make commission, he was rushing me into buying things when I had questions. Most of these questions were as basic as “ will these stretch out?” And were met with “ what does that mean?”… I literally do not know how this man still has a job considering how rude he was.Needles to say, I’ll be returning the boots. The only reason I’ve given 2 stars is because the girls working at the cash were so kind.

I don't usually write reviews, but I would like to offer important feedback about my experience today.I went to the store specifically to find a pair of ROGER ADVANTAGE shoes. When I asked a salesman - Matthew (dark hair, older man) to find a size for me, he repeatedly brought me wrong styles even after I clarified with him several times the specific one that I wanted. Then finally, he told me they were out of my size without offering me a solution. When I asked if he could contact another store to see where I can pick up a pair, he kept insisting that he can have it shipped to me. I stated clearly that I would prefer to pick it up personally but he would not offer me that option. And he kept asking condescendingly, why? Why it cannot ship to your home? I ship to your home

Great selection that is consistent among different Browns locations.The sales staff is always quick to help you out and very professional.

Nice store but the staff are way too rude and pushy. Second after entering I was bombarded with questions, what size, for who etc, commenting on each shoe I picked up. I told the guy 3 times politely - im okay thank you! But he still kept following me around and asking questions. And honestly just being rude and bothering me. “No thanks “ 3 times should be enough. I can’t shop when someone is literally following me.I understand they have to make a commision but from reading the reviews it should be clear that it makes most people uncomfortable!

I honestly had to make a return, and I was very surprised how easy the rep made the process. They didn’t hassle me. It was a very no questions asked experience and I appreciated the service.

Had a tough time finding my size in the colour I wanted, but thanks to Daniela I found cute heels in my size! :)
