COBS Bread Bakery

So glad Cobs came to Brantford, saves so much time on my Sunday morning ritual (driving to Ancaster). Welcoming staff, great selection, scones to die for!

Their low FODMAP bread is my favourite! It's only available now on Tuesdays, Thursdays and weekends, so be sure to go on one of those days. It's close to gluten free, but tastes amazing and prevents that bloating feeling. It's the healthiest, best tasting, almost gluten free alternative bread available in the Region of Waterloo! I highly recommend the low FODMAP bread to anyone who's looking for a delicious gluten free bread alternative. Try it, you'll be amazed at how good the texture and taste is!

The bread is delicious. Sour dough buns were nice and chewy and tender. Scones are very good but small

This was our first visit to a Cobs Bakery. I was very impressed with the staff and the cleanness of the facility. We purchased some scones, dour dough bund and bread which all surpass my expectations. The buns were magnificent with a lovely chewy crust. The blueberry scones were excellent, and we will definitely return for more bread.

I showed up at the door today at 7 o'clock just as they were closing and the doors were open. I walked in after another gentleman before me who was being served and the young lady at the cash register kind of rudely said we're closed" and I was surprised because you would think since not many bakeries in this town seem to make it for very long that they would want every customer possible. But she turned me away and said that she couldn't help me even though I was already in front of the register. So just for that slight i'm not going to shop here anymore. Plenty of grocery stores sell bread."

First time here and it was wonderful! Staff is so very friendly and helpful. Bought a loaf of bread and they slice it for you if you'd like! The croissants are DELICIOUS; especially the chocolate one and the cheese/ham one. Everything is so fresh and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend!

Bought scones for my grandmother, who grew up in England and is always looking for authentic sweet treats. I bought one of every kind, however gave her the “traditional” flavours and kept the chocolate and cinnamon ones for myself. The ones I tried were phenomenal! Upon entering the bakery, I received a friendly greeting and smiles. I was immediately hit by the mouth watering aroma of fresh baking and had to remind myself I was just there for the scones. Bread, buns and various pastries were displayed in a beautiful and appetizing way.My grandmother was touched by my porch gift of scones, clotted cream and fresh made black currant jam. She loved every bite and I will absolutely be bringing her more of your lovely treats. Well done COBS!
