What an amazing place! Huge selection of perennials that are all in 1 liter pots. Also fruit plants and some shrubs. Everything is 8.99 a pot. Very healthy stock. Staff extremely helpful. Would recommend to anyone.

My favourite nursery. Much of my garden is from here, and I'm sure I'll squeeze in many more plants. I hope this nursery never changes, I like everything about it. The selection is so good and you can tell the owner knows her stuff and is a real plant lover. I also love their 'return policy,' it gave me a good chuckle.

At the price that is being offered here there are some plants that I feel I'll be buying only from here. However as many already mentioned the plants are not tagged (I did find that there were tags in pots near the plants you are buying). You can either just match the tag with main plant note or just take picture of the main note.

Great place to find plants for the garden. They are all 1 liter pots only, nothing bigger. You cant go wrong for $8.00 each.

Lots of selection and great prices! The signs for each plant are also informative as it is a nursery the plants are young and it can be harder to know what each plant is from looking at it. Most plants have a code to say what it is on the side of the pot, or the sign will state if the pots are recycled (so the codes don't match the initials of the name). I was sure to take a picture of both the sign and then the plant I was buying so I could be sure of which one was which when I got home. The garden center is outdoors and there was a nice breeze on the day I went so it wasn't as hot as it could have been. The staff were also very friendly and answered the few questions we had however you can see walking around that they are very busy taking care and restocking the plants!

I wasn’t sure what to expect as it was my first time going to a nursery, but the 20+ minutes drive was worth it. There’s plenty of parking space and different sizes carts. It was lovely to scroll through a huge selection of plants, shrubs and trees. I came to purchase hostas and the variety was nothing that I’ve seen before. I ended up buying more than I intended, hostas August Moon, Curly Fries, Blue Mouse Ears, Spring Morning and couple other perennials.

Fantastic hardy selections of plants with a great price! Of course with it being on the more affordable end, they are smaller in size - they’re are about 6” pots that they come in. I love how they have good and informative labeling and you can search their website for the plant you want before going. I bought 80% of my perennial plants for my front and backyard gardens and they are thriving now! They are almost all double in size from last summer and they have all come back with no issues. They take credit, debit and cash for payment.

I moved to the region 4 years ago & was quickly made aware of the wonders of Northland Nursery. It’s a treasure trove for any plant collector with so many varieties of perennials, shrubs, trees & native species that is truly mind boggling!Wear your wellies & give yourself at least a couple of hours to peruse the grounds!

My fav nursery in greater hamilton area. They have a huge selection pf perennials. I’ve been buying for them for two summers in a row. Their plants are well taken care of and great quality. I absolutely love the open space, no ceiling concept. I’ve bought many many beautiful plants, many of which are native plants. I wish they marked their native to Ontario plants differently, to encourage more people to grow native plants to not only help the pollinators but also to save money in water. The staff at this nursery have always been super friendly.
