This is easily the best sushi we have ever had!My husband and I were visiting for 3 days and ate here twice it was SO good!I have a bunch of allergies and food sensitivities and they took such good care of me. Miriam made sure everybody knew what to do with my order in regards to my allergies. She took such good care of us and deserves a raise!!

FAV PLACE IN VERNON LOVE THEM!!! Owners and staff are 10/10!! Such amazing quality and food made from love! This place is the best sushi place in vernon!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND :)!!

By far the best Sushi I’ve had in a long time, everything from the suggested pan fried edamame, miso soup and salad starter through the Sashimi and Sushi platters. All finished off with the ice cream sampler!! Black Sesame ice cream is one thing I’ve never had before, it was a perfect finish off to our night. If your lucky enough to get Ashton for your server be prepared for one of the most attentive and knowledgeable servers to grace the serving world. If I could give more then 5 stars I would. This is now my go to for sushi when in Vernon.

We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The food was great, better than any sushi place in Kelowna. The staff was fast and friendly and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant was well maintained and clean and had good vibes.

Eat here! Excellent sushi on par with the big city restaurants. Very good service in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

I cannot rave enough about this restaurant! Excellent food, incredible service and amazing atmosphere. The staff are very knowledgeable about the food and there's options for different dietary restrictions including celiac, which is hard to find with sushi at times, but they are very careful with cross contamination and give you gluten free soy sauce too if needed.

Friendly efficient service. Atmosphere comfortable. Tasty food nicely presented. Portions were on the small side, however very tasty!I highly recommend!

Kawakubo uses quality ingredients for their sushi. I was quite impressed with their rolls and the variety that they offer.I ordered takeout and they forgot the soy sauce. Sushi without soy sauce just isn't the same, unfortunately.

This was my first time at Kawakubo. It is really good quality Japanese food. It gets busy by 6pm so make sure you're here before that to guarantee a seat for yourself.The staff and the owner are all very friendly and pleasant.Prior to tip, our meal cost $39.90 for summertime rolls, yam tempura cone, miso soup, scallop cone, another roll, and a Sprite.The food was absolutely delicious. They have a big menu.I highly recommend this restaurant. There are so many great Japanese restaurants in downtown Vernon which is great to see.
