We were greeted and seated pretty quickly. The food came in good time and tasted ok. We were seated in the first table on the right, so we could see behind the counter.A takeout order came out through the kitchen and the waiter was packing it up. I was shocked to see that he stuck his hand in the box, took a piece out and stuffed it in his mouth!!It was horrendous. The rest of the food was then packed, left on the side and someone came and took it later.I won't be back again, despite that the food was ok.

Had been this a couple of times, they made the atmosphere of this place cozy and traditional chinese style. The food is incredible, and if u love szechuan food definitely recommend a try. They also offer lunch special menu and dinner combo menu as u request.

This place has the best shanghainese food in the lower main land that I’ve tried. It’s super spicy just like how they make it in China. The fish in oil is so delicious and so is the cold chicken in oil. The service is also pretty good and the portions are decent too. Will be coming back pretty often as it reminds me of my childhood :)

A very decent of decent SiChuan style restaurant. 7 out of 10(10 is prefect cooked and taste)It’s just okay, many other SiChuan style restaurants taste better than here.They can do better, lots of rooms to improve.I can tell from the food that chief has the skill.I found a funny thing in the restaurant:I felt that dishes were lacking some favors, but I couldn’t tell what was missing.Then I noticed the pepper sauce (6/7) on the side walk. A Chinese restaurant is using Korean pepper sauce? (Korean peppers are more sweet, less spicy and favors comparing to SiChuan peppers)That’s maybe the reason why I felt dishes were lacking favors.BUT they do use and import Sichuan peppers (7/7).So I guess some of the dishes using Korean pepper sauce?Hope my experience and investigation helped you.

We had a bunch of problems with this place and we'll never go again. The Szechuan Chicken was inedible, as they had like 4 red peppers in the small amount we had, as well as way too much spice. My family, including my 80 year old father is suffering as I write this. It had to be thrown out as nobody could eat it, and we like spicy food. The deep fried squid was soggy as they didn't think to put some air holes in the packaging. For 18$, we also got a pitiful amount. The rest was average" but the amount was pitiful. Stay away. The picture is what remained after we all had a spoon of it."

We had spicy beef stew and a cauliflower dish. Enjoyed both very much! Beef stew was on the salty side probably from sitting on the stove all day long but I still liked it. Portion was great. Two of us with starving bellies couldn’t finish both dishes. The environment is also nice. So happy to have this go-to place for spicy food in my neighborhood

Good dishes:干锅鸡翅 (The wings should be crunchy but often turn out soggy. They still taste great all the time anyway.)重庆辣子鸡 (Seasonings are the same as 干锅鸡翅; these are just made with boneless chicken bits instead of wings.)四川回锅肉 (This has great flavour, but 70% of this dish consists of cabbage and other non-五花肉 fillers.)红油抄手 (HQ is where I had this particular style of wonton for the first time. The pork filling tastes great. Significantly spicer than the other dishes in this list.)Dishes that I ordered once and never will again:宫保鸡丁 (It's not as bad as some of the variations I've had at other places in Vancouver and nearby areas, but still. It was very different from what I was expecting.)
