Carol The Dog Trainer

I have never left a review like this before but I really can not recommend Carol.We had never had a dog before. My sister gave us Cesar Millan's book as a gift. She also gave us a gift certificate to work with Carol.We also signed up for Carol's group sessions.As soon as I mentioned the Cesar Millan book Carol became oppositional. On Cesar Millan, I have no opinion.We finished the group sessions and then went into Covid lock up.When Covid lockup was over we followed up for the gifted session, Carol would not honour the prepayment.

She was very nice and well spoken, she helped me understand a whole different perspective on training my French bulldog! I would definitely recommend her services

We are so, so grateful to Carol. She goes above and beyond. She is so thorough, responsive, and supportive. After some big life changes, our dog, Mabel's, behavior drastically changed and she started barking - a lot. It had a major impact on our well being. Carol helped us see the barking as a symptom to underlying problems and get to the root of the issues by taking a multi pronged approach and changing the way we interact with her and care for her. She really opened our eyes and helped us be able to recognize Mabel's body language and needs much better. With Carol's help, I would say Mabel's barking is down 70-80% and the remaining is much less stressful because our response is so much more effective. We joke that Carol trained us more than she trained Mabel.

Carol is an incredibly talented and knowledgeable dog trainer. I had use several other trainers for my puppy with no improvement on her issues. Once we started training with Carol I immediately saw a difference in my dog’s behaviour.Carol is very flexible and adapts her training to meet the needs of each dog. She has been an amazing resource and has helped significantly in addressing my dog’s anxiety and reactive behaviours. Thanks to Carol my dog is now very well trained.

Carl is great. She offered excellent advices on how to potty train my 4 months old Frenchie. She took the time to explain and provided suggestions based on our needs and circumstances. Highly recommended!!

Spoke to Carol on the phone regarding our puppy with separation anxiety. She was incredibly helpful and gave me so many useful tips to get us on track based on what our puppy needs .

Highly recommend Carol! We participated in her beginner group class and took more away than we ever imagined. So much learning and value (resources and recaps sent for every learning topic!) for both the humans and pup in our pack. Carol was unbelievably knowledgeable and helpful with any questions we had. Fantastic approach to teaching and handling dogs. You won't regret taking her class!
