Met Ralph for the first time today for an inspection in Kitchener, he not only took his time and meticulously inspected the home, he spent his time educating my clients. He expertly identified problem areas and highlighted issues we should take care of right away. I was most impressed by his attention to detail and work ethic, we got our moneys worth. I highly recommend him.

Had an inspection done about a year and a half ago by home straight inspections, Our house is located near the St Marys hospital in Kitchener.everything was done well, and the report was very well laid out.as for the the actual inspection, we were told our roof would be good for a couple years, it leaked literally a month after move in, we let this pass as we understood these things could happen.we had a couple of cracks in the foundation, which ended up leaking.. again, we hired a professional and had these repaired.now, a year and a half later we decided we needed a bigger home, so we listed, received and accepted an offer, all we had to do now was wait for the inspection to go through.the potential buyers hired piller to post inspections, and after it was done, we were told some very serious things that HOME STRAIGHT completely missed, and not small things.the house has ductwork wrapped in asbestos, this is a HUGE issue... and again, home straight completely missed it.the house has lead piping for the main water.. again, completely missed. (I should of seen this myself, but I did not know these things as it was our first house) in our report it said the house contained galvanized, cast iron and copper piping only. no where did it tell me the main water was coming in through lead piping.so, if you are planning on using this company.. I'de suggest looking else where.we trusted home straight.. and because of that we lived in a house with asbestos and lead piping for a year an a half not knowing the thruth.

Ralph was very thorough and took the time to explain his findings as well as make suggestions and answer any questions I had on my home inspection. Great experience all around.

This company, Ralph Kors (owner), did the inspection after we made an offer on our current home in Guelph. (Condo townhouse). Very prompt, thorough and professional. He seems to have not only the essential credentials required in Ontario but a lot of other training too.Ralph did another inspection for us on a property we were buying in Kitchener, as an investment. (Freehold townhouse) We were very satisfied again.We will use him again on a property we will buy soon and I will update this review with the new experience.
